"Who is it"Christie asks. "It's your brother dropping off our daughter and niece"Sean says. "We'll talk later when you come to ours"Matt said. "See you later Matt hope it all goes to plan and don't worry about Andrea and Violet there in safe hands"Sean said. "Violet be good"Matt says. "I will Uncle Matt"Violet said. "I'll let you know when we've finished"Matt says. "See you then bro"Sean said as he grabbed the car seat that Andrea's in and grabs the baby bag as he walks in with Violet. As Matt and Gabby head away with Jim to have a chat with a certain person as Violet speaks up. "Sean wheres mum"Violet asks. "She's in the bedroom Violet"Sean said. As Violet walks in her parents bedroom where she finds her mum sitting up in bed and. "Hello sweetie"Christie says. "I've missed you mum"Violet said. "Why don't you come over here and help me as Sean sorts out Andrea"Christie said.
As Violet goes over to her mum she sees some items on the bed and her mum holding something in her hand. "Mum do you want any help with that"Violet asks. "Yes please if you don't mind"Christie says. As Violet opens the medication bottle and pours two tablets of Paracetamol first before opening the Codeine medicine bottle and giving her two of them. "Here's your medication and some water mum"Violet said as she held the glass so her mum can drink some. As Christie has now taken her medication for the morning Sean walks in after settling Andrea down. "I've taken my medication Violet helped me"Christie said. "Thats good love"Sean said. "Can you show Violet how you put my prosthetics on as you do them please"Christie says. "You don't need to ask me"Sean said. "Before you do anything we need to wash our hands Violet"Sean says.
As Violet and Sean wash their hands before doing Christie's prosthetics as the twins are wriggling around. "I think you two know that your big sister is here with your cousin Andrea"Christie said. While over at the hospital as the clock now reads 9:30am Doctor Rhodes pages Doctor Simmonds saying that he's free but Doctor Simmonds messages him back. "Hello Doctor Rhodes I'm with a patient for the next hour then I've got a 30 minute break so can we discharge Louie Casey then if thats okay with you"Doctor Simmonds says. "See you outside the ward then"Doctor Rhodes said. As Doctor Rhodes and Doctor Choi still with the family when 34 year old Duke Norman's machines goes off and as the eyes start to flicker he goes into cardiac arrest as Doctor Choi does CPR Duke breathes again and this time when they move the probe over his heart they notice the problem.
"We need to page Doctor Bekker and Doctor Langham to get here"Rhodes said."can't you operate on him"Choi said. "I would've if I didn't have a patient to discharge at 11am"Doctor Rhodes said. A few minutes later after Doctor Choi paged the surgeons Bekker and Langham have arrived. "What's wrong"Bekker asks. "Take a look on the screen"Rhodes said. "I can see that theres fluid around the heart and we need to intervene and open him up again"Langham says. "Let's get him to theatre"Bekker said. "We'll tell his family"Rhodes said. As Doctor Bekker and Doctor Langham wheel Duke Norman down the corridor and straight into Theatre 2 where the Nurses get him prepped as Bekker and Langham both scrub up as Duke's brother sister-in-law and kid arrive back from getting changed etc.
As Doctor Rhodes and Doctor Choi tells the family as Christie is lying on the sofa as Andrea is kicking her legs in her car seat as Violet is kneeling on the floor. "Violet why don't you put your hands on my stomach and tell them who you are"Christie said. "Are you sure mom"Violet says. "I'm sure Violet"Christie says. "I'm just going to get myself a drink can I get anyone else a drink"Sean asks. "Can I have one of my flavoured waters please"Christie asks. "Coming right up"Sean said. As Sean goes to the kitchen to get the drinks Violet puts her hands on her mums stomach and. "It's your big sister here I don't know if you can hear me talking to you I can't wait to meet you"Violet said as Sean walks back in the room with the drinks.
While Violet is talking to her unborn siblings over with Matt Gabby and Jim who have arrived at Jim's Business and as Matt pulls up in the parking lot in the designated space. "We're here Jim"Matt says. "I can't bottle out now can I"Jim says. "No Jim it's got to be done"Gabby said. As they get out of the car they all walk into the building where they're greeted by a staff member who's cleaning the hallway when Keri Hathaway comes into view and. "Why don't we go in the room down here there's no one in there"Keri says. "Can Jim have a drink of water please Keri"Gabby says. "Of course Jim can have a water"Keri says. "Jim let's get you seated"Matt said. As they all walk into the room where Victor has left a jug of water and cups for them. "Thanks Victor tell everyone that I'll be back when I'm finished here"Keri says.
