The next few days were fairly standard. You went to work, and you went home at a respectable hour. The office seemed a lot more quiet now that the boys were gone, and all the calls were being forwarded to Wanda's phone. You were half tempted to go down to Tony's office to meet Wanda for yourself and see if she needed help with anything, but reports kept coming in and you didn't have the time to spare to leave your desk with the new hours that Steve had mandated to you for while he was on a mission. You had received a few text messages at the start of the mission right after Bucky had left. You found yourself jumping on Friday when your phone vibrated and you were hoping it was Bucky. Sadly it was a delivery notification. You sent a message to Tony that you were taking a small break and heading to your apartment to put your belongings inside, and he replied with a go for it.
You walked back to your place and saw that not only your soaps were delivered, but also a dozen white roses. You looked at the notecard and it said "I can't wait to come home to you - Love, Bucky". You felt like swooning, but instead you carried the roses into your apartment along with the boxes. You put the roses on your coffee table beside the other ones Bucky had given you, and put your boxes to the side to be opened later.
You rushed back to the main compound and took the employee entrance and went back towards your office. You walked in and saw a slightly pregnant woman with long auburn hair in a cute bun, wearing a black t-shirt and a pair of jeans. She was sitting in your chair watching the door. You knew immediately this was Wanda based off of the pictures you had seen in the paper.
"Hello" you said a little shyly as you walked in..
"Finally! I thought I'd never meet you" she stood up and held out her hand. "Wanda Maximoff".
You shook her hand and gave a soft smile. "Y/N Y/L/N" you said. "Did you need files or anything?" you asked curiously.
"Nope, I'm bored of answering all the calls about who you are," she giggled. "It's been three days, but it hasn't slowed down yet. I came to ask you to lunch" she said.
"Lunch? You mean outside of the compound?" you hesitated.
"Natasha wants to come too," she nodded.
"Isn't that adding fuel to the fire?" you asked softly.
"Nope. We want a meal just us girls. Pepper is working at Stark Industries today, and you've been a part of this team for over a month now. It's about time you got out" she said, coming in a little closer.
"I normally eat at my desk" you said, a little embarrassed.
"I can tell you are about to turn me down, so a counter offer. We eat here" Wanda said, looking pointedly at the vacant chairs.
"Aren't you supposed to be at the Avengers mandatory lunches?" you asked.
"Tony can live without us for a day. I'll order in. Do you like greek?" she asked, pulling out her cell phone. You barely said a word before she was ordering enough food for five people. Once she was done she sent off a few text messages and she went and took one of the spare chairs.
"I was worried you wouldn't get her to cave" another woman's voice came from behind you. She had been so silent that you jumped. She had long red hair, and she was wearing jeans and a red blouse. "I'm Natasha Banner," she introduced herself.
"It's a pleasure to meet both of you" you flushed.
"The pleasure is all ours" Nat smirked as she came over and started moving things around to make space to eat. "You can call me Nat," she added.
"She's so gentle," Wanda whispered loudly to Natasha.
"What would you expect from the one person that put up with all those reports without a complaint?" Nat chuckled.
