Butterfly (Bucky x Reader)

Saturday morning you woke up and could barely move. Bucky had his arm slung across your stomach and hand possessively on your stomach and fanned out. You nuzzled back into him and hummed happily. Your wolf inside you was begging to go for a run, and you wanted to give that to her. Bucky was snoring softly beside you, and you didn't want to wake him up. You looked at your smart watch and saw you had a few messages from Jennifer about how happy she was for you, and how she wants to get together again soon. You needed your phone to find out how the rest of her evening had gone. You were curious to know if Steve ended up spending the night at her place or not. You figured you'd find out soon enough.
Your bladder was screaming, so you carefully maneuvered out of Bucky's strong hold and slipped out of bed to race to the bathroom. While you were there you took a quick shower after doing your business, and you also did your morning routine. When you came out, Bucky was tangled up in the sheets, still naked like you, and he was snoring louder. You giggled and grabbed your phone off the bedside table and headed into the closet to grab loose clothing and a pair of boots. You carried it out to the living room, and saved the boots for last before heading out.
You got downstairs and saw Steve creeping in, he had flushed cheeks when he saw you at the front door. You couldn't help but giggle. He was in the same clothes as last night, so his night must have gone very well.
"Good morning" he finally said.
"Morning!" you chirped, tucking your phone into the front pocket of your sweater. "Did you have a good night?" you asked.
"Yes," Steve nodded and you giggled again.
"Let's make a deal, I didn't see you and you didn't see me" you offered your hand. Steve quickly shook it.
"Deal. Where are you headed?" he asked curiously.
"Nosey" you teased and he chuckled. "My wolf is dying to be let out. I'm starting to lose control, so I'm headed outside" you advised him. He looked a bit concerned for a moment.
"There's snow outside," he frowned.
"I'll have a fur coat, and I can still run in the snow" you shook your head.
"How far are you going? Why isn't Bucky with you?" he asked a little protectively.
"I won't go far, I'll stay on the property. And Bucky is sleeping pretty soundly, no way am I waking him up. I'm not sure if he got his fill yet, but my lady parts need a few hours" you gave a coy smile. Steve blushed again and chuckled.
"That's a super soldier thing" he admitted.
"Oh, I imagine. Jennifer is probably going to not skimp on the details" you grinned wickedly.
"Just don't share it with anyone else" Steve shook his head and gave a soft laugh. "Did you want me to come with you?" he offered. "I would feel a bit better if you did," he added.
"Nah, I'm good. I won't be long" you shook your head.
"How long do you need? Breakfast is in two hours" Steve looked at his watch.
"Two hours should do it" you nodded approvingly.
"Argh, okay. I'm going upstairs to change, but I'm coming to watch you" Steve huffed.
"I don't need a babysitter," you giggled. "I'll see you at breakfast" you waved and went outside without another word. You heard Steve grumble, but you didn't hear exactly what he said. You were too focused on the task at hand.

Your boots crunched in the snow as you walked through the woods. You knew you couldn't go as far as you wanted. Something that caught you as curious was the amount of footsteps in the snow. You could tell it was multiple people, and the scent wasn't familiar. Inside your wolf was howling for you to do the change. You looked around, but didn't see anything except a few fallen branches. You heard a crack, and slowly looked up to see several people in high tech gear with their faces covered and in the Hydra colors. You yelped, not expecting that at all. You finally let out a scream as loud as you could before you started running and they were descending the trees quickly on a rope. You started taking off your clothes as you ran aimlessly through the woods, trying to get away. You thought this place was safe, but somehow they found you again. Either that, or they were after the team. That made you stop short.

You stopped long enough to rip off your bottoms and kick off your boots. You felt someone grab your hair and yank back, but you were already in the middle of changing to your wolf form. You yelped but launched yourself forward enough to finish the change.
"Get her! She's a high priority" a man's voice said, not too far away. As soon as you finished a howl ripped from your throat and you turned quickly to see a team of five burly men were coming at you. You snapped your jaws at them, and growled menacingly before one of them aimed a taser gun at you. You saw it start to release and jumped to the side before the prongs hit you. The sound of electricity filled the air. You jumped at the man holding it and went for his throat. You let Lily take over completely while attacking him. The other four men tried to help him and grab at you, but you were having none of it. You growled while ripping at flesh and he fell down. The smell of blood filled the air, and it fell on the pristine white snow. His fists were batting at you, likely leaving bruises. One hit connected with your jaw and you saw stars. You fell back and saw a gun pointed at your back flank. You ran for it, deciding to take them on one by one as they caught up.

"Oh no you don't you bitch. We aren't done with you yet!" one man yelled at you, while a second was trying to save the man you attacked, life.
"Catch her! She's a high priority" a fourth man said.. You ran for it. You didn't like hearing that twice in a row. You didn't know why you would be a priority for anything. Didn't they make more than one werewolf? Did they already know you are pregnant?
You regretted leaving your watch and phone in the suite, but then again, you couldn't use either with paws. Your clothes were all over the woods now. You let out a long howl as you raced for your life. At least you knew they didn't want anyone on the team at the moment. You were really mad at yourself for not waking up Bucky, or bringing Steve with you. It felt like a dumb move. Then again, you thought that this was just going to be a quick run and you'd be back inside before Bucky even woke up.

A few gunshots sounded in the air and you felt bullets whip past you and it hit the trees close to you. You then heard the alarm going off at the compound, and you knew someone must have heard the gunshots. You found a rock outcropping and hid behind it, looking up over it for a moment. You heard the man acting as a medic calling for them to fall back with the alarm going off. But one man was still coming at you. You dropped your head down, and started digging under the rocks where there was a slight hole. You slipped in under the rocks and turned in the hole so your head was peeking out. You heard the footsteps get closer and he walked past you. He had his gun out and was looking for you. His back was to you, and you started to sneak out of your hole. You launched yourself at his back and he cried out, letting his gun go off by reflex. The sound hurt your ears, but you were fine with that. If anything, it pushed you to go further. He fell backwards, and you yelped since you were under him. He took out a knife and turned to face you. He threw a punch with the hand that had a knife in it, and it sliced along the side of your face. You started ripping and tearing at his arm. He tried punching you with the other hand, but the pain barely registered.

"Y/N!" Steve's voice was coming closer. You growled loudly, unwilling to let go of his hand. You heard more gunshots from behind you, and that made your heart freeze in your chest. You let go of the man's arm, and howled. The man stood up and started pointing the gun at your head. You let out a soft whimper when suddenly from behind you someone jumped over you. You looked up to see Bucky in his black sweats and a pair of boots, and an open hoodie with nothing underneath. He tackled the Hydra agent that was about to shoot you and broke his arm before punching him and effectively knocking him out.
"Baby, hide" Bucky whispered to you. You ran back into your hole while more gunshots filled the air. Bucky took the gun off the man that he knocked out and looked around suspiciously. He was being hypervigilant and not straying away from you at all.
"We got them tin man" Sam's voice called out.
"How many were there?" Bucky said to you softly. You let out five soft barks and he nodded. "How many do you have?" He called to Sam.
"Four" Steve's voice came back.
"Is Y/N safe?" Sam called out.
"Come on out, doll" Bucky took a step back. You came out and gave a soft yip. "She's hurt," Bucky called to them.

"I'm coming" Loki came running towards Bucky. You whimpered as the pain was finally starting to hit you. Loki got to your side and looked at you caked in mud and blood. "Darling, we need you in your human form," he said softly. You barked at him, there was no way you were changing to your human form in front of anyone but Bucky.
"Please doll, I'll carry you" Bucky said softly. "We need to check on the babies," he added. "We need to know you are okay," he whispered. You huffed and padded behind them. Loki looked towards the rock outcropping while you shifted back. The process this time was fairly painful. You cried out as you became human again, and Bucky turned around, taking off his sweater. He quickly wrapped the sweater around your form, and he zipped the front before picking you up.
"It's safe" Bucky said finally. Loki turned around and wrinkled his nose.
"My darling, you are going to be full of bruises" Loki assessed. "These wounds need cleaning," he said as he got closer.

"Are you okay, doll?" Bucky asked you worriedly.
"I'm fine" you said, a moment before you fainted.
