Bucky finally changed back to his human form, and still held you on the couch long after the boys went upstairs, he was nuzzling into your hair while you read a book on your phone and also reading over your shoulder.
"What happens to the villain?" he asked.
"He becomes the love interest" you told him.
"Why would a villain become the love interest?" he asked, a little confused.
"Because, the Hero would risk her to save the world. The villain would burn the world to save her" you explained. "It's a dark romance, it's normal. "I would never risk you for the world" Bucky said softly after a few moments of contemplation.
"I would expect you to" you told him. You looked over your shoulder at him and he looked pained. "It's for the greater good."
"I still couldn't do it," he sighed. "You are my world, everyone else is just in it" he kissed the side of your neck.
"You make hard decisions every day. I know that one day when it comes down to it, you'll make the right decision" you turned off your book. You yawned and slowly started getting up, but Bucky picked you up at the last second and he carried you to the bedroom.
"Thanks for the ride" you giggled.
"Always" Bucky kissed you on the lips softly. He set you down on your feet, but you kept your arms wrapped around his neck so he had to lean down. He ran his hands up and down your arms and held you close. "I like being in your head" he said inside your mind.

"Marry me, because I can't live this life without you. Because you are my goddess given mate, and I love you so much that sometimes it hurts" he said as he opened the ring box presenting a white opal with diamonds on either side of it on a platinum band.
"Yes I couldn't think of a better way to spend the rest of my life," you nodded and smiled as he got up and kissed you hard on the lips and slipped the cool ring on your burning finger. "How long have you had this?" you asked him, admiring the ring.
"Since I saw you in your wolf form for the first time. I started looking up werewolves back then, and couldn't stop. I bought the ring the next day" he grinned proudly.
"It's not silver, right? Apparently that can be poisonous for our kind" you said with a straight face. He almost looked stumped for a moment.
"It's platinum, because I couldn't get it in vibranium yet. The wedding band will be vibranium though," he explained and you finally giggled.
"I was just teasing," you said with a smile.
"Once the compound is safe again, we are having a wedding and I'll get a wedding planner. You don't have to worry about anything, or money again in your life. I'll take care of you. If you don't want to work, that's okay. I'll provide for both of us" he told you.
"I like working though" you gave a light laugh. "But right now, I want something more from you."
"I'm getting to that doll, I just need to make my intentions clear. I'm about to be the villain in your story" he winked.
"You were never the villain to me" you told him softly.
"No? Because I'm about to ruin you for anybody else" he grinned.
