Butterfly (Bucky x Reader)

A quick recall

With panic in your chest, you grabbed your phone and texted Bucky. You were scared, and didn't know what to do with yourself.

You: Baby, I'm scared

Bucky: What's going on, what's wrong doll?

You: the alarms went off, and I'm sealed in the office.
Bucky: I want you to hide in my office. Go pull on the book on my bookshelf called "The Hobbit". It's going to open a panic room with a lot of guns. Go in and grab the easiest gun you can handle, and I want you to lock yourself in. I'll come home and let you out. We are leaving now. Fuck the mission.
You: I'm sure that Bruce and Tony have it handled...
Bucky: Not enough for my liking. Get in the panic room doll. I'm not joking.

You grabbed your drink and stopped in Steve's private bathroom to go pee before running into Bucky's office. Sure enough you found the book on the second shelf and you pulled it back. The book snapped back into place as the bookshelf opened to a large room with guns and knives lining the walls. There were a few tv screens that showed off various areas of the compound, and one screen that was focused on the office. You pulled the door closed and it locked into place. You picked up a small gun, not sure how to use it, but it did make you feel better. You saw Nat holding her baby in one of the screens, and Wanda had her arms around Nat. You looked to the outside and saw that Tony was in his Ironman suit, and Bruce was hulked out, and they were fighting several Hydra agents. It looked like a full on attack on the compound itself. Your phone rang, and you jumped.
"Hello?" you answered it.
"Baby, did you make it into the panic room?" Bucky asked over the phone.
"Yes, I'm so scared" you shivered. You didn't want to cry and worry him more.
"Don't worry, we left the base and we are are on our way. We will get the base another day. Do you see anything on the screens?" he asked.
"There's a lot of Hydra agents outside. The hulk, and Ironman are out there fighting them off. It looks like some of the security guards are helping too" you said, focusing on the screen again.
"Okay, look at the other screens, do you see anyone on the inside?" he asked.
"So far its Nat and Wanda in one of the rooms, the are locked in too, with Seraphina" you said, your voice getting small. "They must be so scared" you spoke softly.
"Wanda could kick all of their asses without lifting a finger" Bucky assured you. "Talk to me, tell me about your day"
"I just worked on reports"

"What else?"

"I had a few strawberry refreshers from Starbucks. It's pretty yummy"
"Sounds like I'll have to try it, doll"
"You should. It's delicious" you smiled a little.

"Listen, we are coming as fast as we can, but you need to stay hidden and on the phone with me" Bucky said.
"I didn't bring in my charger or my laptop" you pouted.
"You don't need your laptop, but there's a spare charger in there already in a port, just use that" he said. You looked around but couldn't find it.
"Where?" you asked.
"Right by the tv screens. Just look towards the bottom, you'll see a white charging cord" Bucky instructed. You went over and found it, plugging in your phone. You put the phone on speaker and sat in the only chair in the room.
"Is this room sound proof?" you asked.
"Yes, so don't worry about talking to me" he reassured you. "Tell me about our babies," he said.
"I can feel them moving," you said softly. "We have an appointment tomorrow with Doctor Cho to check on the babies progress as well" you sighed.
"They're moving?" he asked as though in awe. "I can't wait to feel them," he said with a smile in his voice.
"You have to be the first" you said, refusing that anyone else would touch your belly besides him for now. "Although Nat and Wanda might form a line" you giggled, starting to relax.
"It's good that you're getting closer to the girls" Bucky sighed. You looked back at the computer screens and you saw a few Hydra agents had breached the building from the back and were headed to each room and using a laser to get in. Thankfully, they were far away from you, Wanda, Nat, and Seraphina.
"Baby, I don't want to scare you, but they are in the building. They are breaking in through every door they come across" you said with a big gulp.
"Bird Brain get this jet to go faster," Bucky yelled.
"I've got it going as fast as I can" Sam snapped back.
"What's going on?" Steve asked.
"They breached the compound" Bucky said, worry evident in his voice.
"I need to tell Wanda and Nat to hide," you told them.
"NO! Do not hang up. Steve will call them" Bucky ordered. "Steve, call Wanda and Nat, tell them to hide."
"Tell him to hurry, I don't know there's enough time" you said as another door was broken in. You heard Steve get on the phone and watched as Wanda and Nat ran to Tony's desk and you saw another safe room open up and they grabbed everything they needed and ran in. There was barely any evidence there had even been in the room left behind. You watched in horror on the screen as the Hydra agents made their way to the second floor and you yelped.
"What's wrong?!" Bucky demanded.
"They're on the second floor," you said in a small voice.
"Listen to me, they can't hear you. They won't find you. Just stay calm, and hold onto the gun" Bucky ordered.
"I can fight better in my wolf form," you said.
"Then I can't hear your beautiful voice," he said, a little suave.
"Just hurry, please" you replied.
"Doll, there's nothing keeping me from you except some flight time" Bucky sighed. "Fucking jet is too slow" he growled. "Tell me what's happening outside," he said.
"Tony and Bruce have it handled, but there's a lot of them. Bruce is extra angry today, I think Hulk takes being a dad very seriously. Vision just got here, and so did Pietro" you reported as you saw them come on screen. "Pietro is coming into the building" you said with relief.
"Okay, good. He will find them shortly" Bucky said with a sigh. "Doll, I'm coming home and I'm taking you somewhere safe until this mess is sorted out. Somewhere they can't find us" he said.
"We can't leave our home" you said, a little choked up, even though home did not feel safe at all right now.
"Yes we will, and we can" he said. "Where's Pietro?" he asked.
"Still clearing the first floor. They are at the office door here now" you whispered.
"Just relax, they won't find you" Bucky tried to reassure you before he covered the phone and yelled at Sam to go faster again. You heard a loud bang in the office and you screamed.
"Baby, don't scream. Just be calm, I'm right here" Bucky said. You abandoned the chair to hide under the desk area, almost ready to wet yourself here and now, and took the phone off speaker. "Just breathe baby" he whispered into your ear.
"I need you" you started crying.
"Jet's coming in for a landing in ten minutes. Stay still, just breathe" Bucky whispered. "I love you, I wont let anything happen to you"
"I love you too" you whispered back.
"I need you to look at the screens. What are they doing" Bucky prompted. You crawled out and saw they had turned the office upside down, but didn't take anything.

"My poor roses" you said, as you watched them scatter your poor flowers across the floor. You saw them set down a ball sized device and turn it on and leave the room before the ball started leaking gas. "They just left something on my desk, and it leaking a gas of some kind" you updated him.
"Whatever you do, do not leave that room" Bucky ordered.
"I'm not coming out until you come carry me out. I want full princess rescue" you told him, and you heard him bark a laugh.
"Carried like a princess, got it" Bucky chuckled. "Anything else princess?"
"Can we go somewhere warm?" you asked him. "With lots of safe rooms"
"I have just the place" Bucky assured you.
"Umm... we have a problem" you said, and you watched as the gas started coming in under the door that you came in.
"What's wrong baby?" Bucky asked.
"Well, they're at Wanda and Nat's room, and there's gas leaking into the room" you told him.
"Cover your mouth and nose, don't talk" Bucky instructed. "We are coming in for a landing, and I'm coming straight to you" he promised.
"I'm scared" you whimpered.
"Shh... it's okay baby. I'll be right there. I'll grab you a gas mask and we will head to our room. We are packing up and we are getting out of here" he said.
"In case I don't get out of this...." you started saying.
"Don't talk like that, I'm coming in hot" he said and you heard the jet starting to land through the phone.
