Juliette looks at some players with whom she makes eye contact.

The mom looked over to where Juliette was looking.

"Ah, that's Eder Militao, Real Madrid's right back," she said as the players rounded the corner. Militao saw Juliette and grinned.

Juliette smiled at him. Militao smiled back at Juliette. He said something in Portuguese to his teammates, and they all turned to Juliette and laughed at whatever Militao said.

Jude glanced over at Juliette and his mom before doing a double take and staring at Juliette with wide eyes.

Juliette looked awkwardly at Jude's mom.

"What did he say for them to all look at me?"

Jude's mom blushed a bit and said, "Militao said that you were the most beautiful woman he has ever seen in front of his eyes." Jude widened his eyes even more.

Juliette replied, "Really?" She looked at the group of players and smiled.

Jude's mom nodded and looked over at the group of players as well. She watched as they all stared at Juliette in pure shock, impressed by how gorgeous she looked, especially in a nice dress.

Militao continued to talk, but this time to Juliette in Portuguese, and Juliette began to chuckle. Meanwhile, Jude was struggling to pay attention to his teammates as they talked. He looked at Juliette and widened his eyes even more before walking over to her.

Juliette noticed Jude and turned to his mom.

"Your son is here."

Karen looked over at Jude and smirked.

"That didn't take long at all," she said as Jude walked up to Juliette, still staring at her with wide eyes.

Juliette looked at Jude and Militao, not knowing what to do.

Militao grinned at Juliette and said something in Portuguese before backing away. Jude's mom laughed quietly and watched as Jude walked up to Juliette with his eyes fixated on her.

"What did he say?" Juliette asked curiously.

Jude's mom hesitated before answering Juliette's question. She knew what Militao said and she knew it was inappropriate. She smirked a bit.

"He..." She cut herself off and bit her lip before replying again. "He said that you looked stunning and that you'd make a good wife," she said jokingly.

"He really said that?" Juliette turned to Jude.

Jude sighed and rolled his eyes as he listened to Militao's comment.

"Yeah, he did, but you know Militao. Always flirting with everything that walks," he said as he looked up from the floor at Juliette, who looked stunning on this night.

"Oh..." She replied, feeling a little disappointed.

He stared at Juliette for a few more moments and then looked down at her leg, noticing the slit in her dress. He raised his eyebrows.

Juliette felt awkward, still thinking she's overdressed. She thought to herself, "Jude is probably thinking that too."

Jude's mom laughed quietly once she saw what Jude was looking at.

"Juliette, trust me. You aren't overdressed at all. Jude can't even take his eyes off you right now, and Militao over there keeps flirting with you."

She looked at his mom.

"Stop," she said as she blushed slightly.

She giggled and watched as Jude still struggled to take his eyes off of Juliette. She knew that he was absolutely floored by Juliette's beauty.

Juliette rolled her eyes amusedly.

"Anyway."

Jude finally tore his eyes away from Juliette and turned to his mom.

"I'm gonna go get changed real quick," he said before looking back over at Juliette. "Don't- um. Don't go anywhere, okay?"

Juliette replied hesitantly, "Huh, okay."

Jude nodded and went inside the stadium. His mom looked at Juliette and smirked.

"You look beautiful. He's absolutely stunned by you," she said before leaning against a wall.

"He is not. And as much as I respect you, I never really liked your son," Juliette sighed. "He always was so annoying when we were younger."

The mom laughed.

"Yes, I know. I was around when you two were like 14, remember? It was clear how much you always bickered and argued. But I don't think it was out of hate. I think it was more of a love-hate relationship."

"He was friends with the people who bullied me..." Juliette replied. "I can't appreciate him."

The mom sighed and nodded. She put a hand on Juliette's shoulder.

"I totally understand, and I'm so sorry that this happened. Jude and his friends were immature when they were younger. But they've all grown up now, especially Jude. He's not at all like that anymore. Trust me," she said softly.

Juliette looked away and said, "Maybe. But I still feel that he is making fun of me."

The mom put her other hand on Juliette's shoulder and frowned.

"Dear, I promise that he isn't making fun of you. He was being a bit obnoxious, but I promise he's not like that anymore. He was an immature teenager and now he's 20. He's grown up. Give him a chance, okay?"

"I'll try... But I still have his behavior in mind," Juliette said.

The mom nodded understandingly.

"That's fine. He was a pain in the ass back then, so I totally understand," she said as she saw Jude walking back out of the stadium in casual clothes.
