THIRD PERSON POV

Arilene was sitting at the library reading her book when someone came by and sat down. "Oh Adalyn I was-" She stopped speaking when she saw who was sitting there.

"Oh hey Regan" She said continuing with her book. "Hello," He whispered staring at his book and reading it. "Merry Christmas" Arilene said looking at the boy who looked up and nodded his head with a small smile, "Merry Christmas"

"I can listen to that awkward silence from here too" Rabastan whispered in Regulus' ear who sighed shrugging. If his kid was anything like him, well that's how it's gonna be with everyone else. 

They both kept reading their books without disturbing each other, when suddenly someone came running to them. "Arilene, I am sorry I am a bit lat-oh hey Regan Merry christmas" Adalyn said looking at Regan and Arilene with a small smile.

"Merry christmas Adalyn" The both said simultaneously. "Arilene you wanted me here?" Adalyn asked sitting next to the red haired. Arilene looked at Adalyn the looked at the table and than at Regan.

"Oh it's okay I'll go" Regan said collecting his things but was stopped by Adalyn, "No you can stay here" She said to him and then turned to Arilene, "He's my brother after all" She said smiling at the boy whose eyes widen in shock.

Sirius smiled at that. He was happy to see that they both had the relationship he and his brother failed to have. 

"W-what, how did you know?" He whispered looking at her with his mouth open. "Long story short, heard it from the minster of magic" Adalyn shrugged turning to Arilene with raised brows.

"Lyn" Arilene called out causing Adalyn to smile, "It's ok I know" Adalyn said hugging her bestfriend causing her to hug her tightly. "I am so sorry I didn't interrupt when Harry and others were blaming you, I trust you lyn, I know you better than anyone else and I am sorry I didn't stop them" Arilene said nuzzling her head in the girl's neck.

"They're so cute" Briony whispered smiling like crazy. 

"It's okay, I understand, if I was in your position I would have gone blank too" Adalyn smiled pulling out of the hug. "No hard feelings?" Arilene asked, "Never had" Adalyn smiled pulling out a box from her pocket, "Here, your gift" She said handing her the box.

"By the way, you both can continue,I have some work left to do" Adalyn said heading out of the library.

Regan looked at the exit of the library then at the Red haired, "Bye?" He said or more like asked getting up from his seat and exiting the library too.

"He's so awkward" James snickered shaking his head. 

At lunchtime Harry, Ron and Hermione went down to the Great Hall, to find that the House tables had been moved against the walls again, and that a single table, set for twelve, stood in the middle of the room.

Professors Dumbledore, McGonagall, Snape, Sprout, and Flitwick were there, along with Filch, the caretaker, who had taken off his usual brown coat and was wearing a very old and rather moldy-looking tailcoat.
