Okey so I've been writing super fast so here is the FOURTH chapter of today 👏👏

Not gonna lie this chapter made me cry so..... prepare your tissues.

Allvuture had been chosen for what forkle had called "the meeting" as in the big one that finalized the plan that was going to change the world forever. There was no more pretending that this wasn't happening, it was, and no amount of my jokes could ever hide that fact. She was going to die, and I couldn't do a thing to stop it. I was starting to rethink Grady's idea about locking Sophie in her room for a few hundred years. But I knew that wouldn't work. She was determined, and whenever she set her mind on something there was no stopping her. That's why I sat at the table pretending I was slightly okay with all of this. Flori and hundreds of knomes were in the room next to us knitting armour that hid under clothing. The black swans goblins and dwarves were training for battle.

And pretty much everyone I knew was sitting at this very shiny table. Under a sparkling chandelier, I stared up at it and noticed it was shaking.

"Uhh. Guys I don't think the chandelier is supposed to do that." I mumbled, still staring at it.

"Wha-" Dex was cut off by the chandelier crashing down.

I watched as thousands of shards of crystals came down, everyone was screaming and trying to get away. Dust smoked through the room and I lost vision. Then I heard I quiet click. And It all disappeared?

Mr forkle walked away from the switch that I hadn't noticed had been there before.
"Anything could be an illusion. Remember that." He stated calmly.

"WHAT THE HECKS WAS THAT" biana shouted.

"Just a way to teach you all a valuable lesson. The neverseen may have lost vespera but their illusion technology is unlike anything we have ever seen. So anything could be fake. Don't be fooled if something doesn't seem real, it probably isn't. Trust your mind, not your eyes."

I nodded, still extremely confused. I sat in my seat that looked pretty destroyed a moment ago.

Everyone else did the same.

"So what your saying is that tomorrow anything we see could be fake?"

"Yes, the neverseen love playing mind games as we all know too well. This time I am confident we won't let them mess with us."

"Sophie? Here is your speech." Granite said in his  gravelled tone. He handed her a piece of paper and Sophie's eyes read it over.
"What does it say?" Dex asked.

Sophie replied with a tense,"Something that's going to make or break our very world."

After six very long hours of intense black swan meetings, we finally got to leave. I follow Sophie to the panakes tree. Not willing to let her be out in the cold rain alone. Her back was turned away from me. But her emotions weren't angry they were sad. And worried.
" Keefe. Keep your promise."
"I'm trying"
"No your not. I can see the lies in your eyes."
"I am trying." I urged.
"No. Your not!" She said turning back to face me."
" WELL WHAT DO YOU EXPECT YOUR JUST GOING TO LEAVE SOPHIE! LEAVE US ALL! LEAVE ME!  AND YOU EXPECT ME TO BE OKAY? I CANT EVEN IMAGINE A WORLD WITH YOU GONE!" I yelled. I just couldn't take it anymore. She was really leaving, the moments I had imagined in my head for

Locked yourself in the bathroom, lying on the floor when I break through.

They were so close. And yet impossible. I would never be able to take her on another date, never hear her laugh at one of my jokes, never see her smile, never hold her hand as we watch the sunset, never watch her walk down the aisle, never holding her close as we faced whatever faced us, none of those dreams will ever be a reality. Team foster keefe was doomed, and that made me want to never let her go.
"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME"
"ITS NOT MY CHOICE!" She yelled back.

" YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE WHOSE GOING TO GET HURT FROM THAT CHOICE!" I yelled.

"YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT KEEFE!

"I LET EVERYONE GET CLOSE TO ME. JUST TO HAVE TO WATCH ME DIE!" She yelled. Now there were salty tears streaming down both of our faces.
"Keefe."
"I don't want to die."
And then she was in my arms, both of us sobbing. Not willing to let go of one another. We didn't bother telling each other that it was going to be okay. Because it wasn't. And by the looks of it, it never would be okay. She tilted a bottle up to her lips and I realized it was the nightmare elixir  that Elysian had made.I wasn't sure which one of us said it but someone whispered.
"Hold on I still need you."

Btw anyone got any Kotlc fanfic recommendations for me I'm kinda scraping the bottom (I've read A LOTT of fanfics.)
