Sophie's Pov.🍂🤎✨

I woke up to the sound of Silveny transmitting "SOPHIE! KEEFE! SOPHIE! KEEFE! SOPHIE KEEFE!"

I smiled at the loud transmissions and then that smile fell flat as I remember what today was.

The day I would die. The day I was to leave thsi world and never see my friends and family again.

I opened my eyes and saw I was still outside under calla's tree. With keefe snoring peacefully, I had my head tucked into his chest. With his arms wrapped protectively around me. I saw his face, his very handsome face, and his ice blue eyes that were still closed shut. But that just made his long, dark, eyelashes more visible. A few freckles dotted around his nose. And his bed hair hung messily in his head, Somehow still looking a million times better than my hair probably ever looked.

"Checking me out foster?" His eyes opened and his smirk lit up his face.

I blushed, stupid empaths!

He raised a teasing eyebrow at me and then got up pulling me with him.

"Hey glitterbutt!"
The Alicorn pranced right over to him and nuzzled her face in his hand, as he pether silver silver fur he asked "where's the mini glitterbutts?"

As if on cue whin and Luna came galloping full speed at us. With their father not far behind.

The loud transmissions filled my head and I suddenly realized I hadn't told the aliorns.

"I'm gonna miss you four."  I said softly trying to hide the shakiness in my voice. Keefe's arm tightened around me and he stopped petting Silveny.

"Sophie, okay?" Silveny transmitted.

"I'm ok." I said but my sudden laboured breath didn't help my case."Do you know what die means Silveny?" The horse looked confused.

I tried to search for a few memories that would help explain the word and Silveny began searching my head for emotions rapidly.

She picked a few memories that were shoved in my mental "don't look here box". Then she watched them, first it was when Alden told me about Kenric, then when calla told me she was sacrificing herself, the it flashed to forkle's bloody form.

"Die, mean. gone?"

"Yes, gone"my eyes stung."I'm going to die Silveny, I'm going to be gone."

"Sophie, gone."
"Sophie, gone."
"Sophie, gone."
"Sophie, gone."
"Gone?"

Silveny's nose pressing into me, brought me back to the present.
Keefe was still holding onto me.
Silveny whimpered. She must have transmitted to her family because suddenly loud transmissions of "Sophie, gone." Rattled my brain. Then the twins were next to their mother. And then they were snuggled up against my legs. Muffled alicorn whimpers being the only sound in the whole area.

"Sophie?! I thought you would be out here." Forkle said and he watched the alicorns stay by Sophie's side dispute him being there in awe.

"You really formed an impeccable bond with these creatures Ms Foster." He said, but I couldn't care less about his comment. I just wanted to stay, I knew I was just being childish, but I can't help but wish life would stay happy.

"But it's time to go..."

Biana's POV 💜🙇‍♀️

Everyone set up with their armour that the knomes had prepared  sitting under their very fancy attires. The whole world was going to be their, literally.
I was wearing a light purple sleeveless, dress that showed my  jagged scars.

I watched Sophie walk down the stairs, so many emotions and thoughts blasting through my mind. She was wearing a gorgeous green dress, it practically screamed I'm Amazing, and the green  represented  her Elvin culture. She wore the most delicate flowers braided through her hair, representing her human culture.

Apparently the flowers represented a human thing about leaving flowers at their loved ones graves. Her face was calm, no smile, but no frown either.

"I need to practice my speech face. Can you please give me some advice?" She asked us all.

Then she put on a very convincing smile her pearly white teeth practically glowing. "It's perfect soph." Dex said, but his smile was sad.

"Just soften your gaze a little" keefe whispered.

I watched him, my heart wrenching for the broken couple. The way he looked at Sophie was enough to make me cry. Like she was his lifeline and his happiness was going to die with her.

Sophie nodded her fake smile fading into a look of concern as she whispered. "I'm sorry it has to end like this."

"Oh Sophie!" Edaline sobbed pulling her daughter and husband in for a long hug. I watched as Sophie's eyes filled with horror holding her mom tight.

"I will always love you guys." Then she fished a shiny gold charm out the pocket in her dress and said "see I will always be here with you, just like Jolie." My eyes watered at both the look on the Reuwens faces, and the charm itself.

Then I went in for the group hug pulling Dex with me. I felt more and more arms join the hug. We just stood there in silence until sophie pulled back and said "we really shouldn't be late to this."

This was it.

She was really leaving us.

I was writing when I realized silvery didn't know.... And I knew I had to give the precious alicorns some page time. 🦄🫶🏻🫡
