"Evans are you alright?"

The voice called out to him as his eyes open once again, looking around to see the sea water and the others who were sailing next to him while he was lost in thought. He had been like that for almost 15 mins now with his eyes closed like he was imagining some other outcome for the day. However it was never going to come since this is the reality that they lived in and it was something that he had to accept.

All the agonising words he yelled at her as he lashed out at Abigail... it was everything he had from the heart that made his chest a bit less tighter but more hollow. The look that Abigail gave him was nothing short of priceless to him that she could see the pain that he had in him after she did that to him and the rest. As much as it hurt deep down for what he said and done to her it was something that had to be said to settle the issues between the two.

However he wished....that it didn't come to this, no more will he hear her voice in his mind calling out to him, replaced with a stranger by the name of Khyros... behind a ballistic mask that he didn't have to face as Abigail anymore. The feeling of her lips when they met his were nothing but a sting now and a memory that he tries to forget but just like most things they don't leave that fast.

The love she gave him was long gone replaced with a sharp blade to his shoulder that Davis managed to bandage up for him. It was the only thing he needed to remind himself of his separation from Abigail. A voice calls out to him again but he ignores the call staring in to the nothingness with more questions on his mind than answers, they hit the nail on the head that Abigail was looking for her older sister.

He couldn't understand it....no...that was wrong he did know but the feeling of being thrown aside for concern but not begin to understand the person she threw away. She feared he would die if he followed but so could she....SOLAR was bad business, they had seen first hand the atrocities that they had done. The same force that was working with both the Sirens and Ferri, the same ones that brought the whole place to ruin, killing many innocents and friends that both he and her had. 

To watch her burn the bridge that he thought they could walk on together, the girl who's smile was his whole world had abandoned him....Left him out of fear not understanding the fear Evans had of losing her it was not like he hadn't had near death experiences before. He needed to block out that thinking and accept the fact that she was gone to look for her sister and only hope that the taint of SOLAR doesn't twist the girl he knew.

She was gone Evans...Let it go

He repeats it in his mind again and again, but being in love with someone for 4 years was something that he was struggling from erase out of his mind. He wasn't sure what he was going to do after all this fighting ends now, he planned everything with her in his picture but with the picture ripped in half...

"Evans!"

A hand grabs his injured shoulder as he yelps in pain coming back to Earth to see Wolf was looking at him with a concerned look but the hollow look in his eyes made it harder to tell that he was concerned but he knew how Wolf was like. "Good your listening", "No thanks to that Hand grab, mind taking it off?" Feeling a bit apprehensive he shrugs the shoulder grab off with Wolf letting go of his friends shoulder as he could now talk to him.

He knew that Evans had a lot on his mind right now, he didn't hear the whole conversation between him and Abigail but the parts he did hear were enough to tell him that it was not good. He never imagined the two to break off and he never expected it to be like this like the Earth had frozen over. But the thing that makes Wolf fear more was the look in Evans's eyes, It was like his eyes hollow and empty.
