Chapter A Howl in the Smoke

The radio call ends as Astra, Fives, 416 and 15 could see Abigail standing before them as her sword comes out as a blue flame begins to engulf her surroundings. "That's Anders blue flame, it is able to burn others while also healing its controller....Astra what is the plan?". Astra looks at Dakota who tries to get up but she could tell that she was at her limit. Looking to the left she sees the exoskeleton soldier drop down taunting her with his sword.

There was no way she could defeat the exoskeleton let alone defeat Abigail or Viper. She could tell that Abigail was not in control of her own body fuelled with the lie that Jax had left. Evans wasn't dead but he would be without her powers.... hopelessness fills Astra's heart and the others knowing just how weak they were compared to the others that were around them.

Sure they were able to take on the Ferri or even a Ringleader or Sector V agent or hunter but a rigging was out of their field. One shot from a cannon, one swing from their swords would spell the end of them, Astra looks on ground to see a sword in the hands of one of the Ferri dolls, no confirmation of its make or strength all she could do is fight to buy time. She turns on the radio into distress mode as it begins to flash and beep.

"So Astra, is this our final stand?" 15 says with a firm grip on her sword as its pink accent shines reflecting the devoid Abigail that stands before them. "If so, I can't believe it's Abigail...", "Well you know what they say in the Division to fight threats around and within". "If we make it out of this Astra we really need to get ourselves a rigging, 416, Fives I need you to run....find Wolf....he won't be far behind".

A shock but looking at the situation before them, what choice did they have?. Wolf had the power to rival a Siren Empress....if there was anyone that could stop them...he was the person for the job.  A loud explosion could be heard to the left of them as 416 and Fives run like the wind, not looking behind them as they run however the sound of cannon fire from both Abigail and Vipers guns caught them.

The shells crash at the road before them and the buildings around them but they keep running, they were the only life line that could give them any chance of survival. They remember the lives lost when the Forces had fallen, they were not going to lose more when they were already clutching at straws. 

Astra raises the sword with 15 as Astra yells "Abi, Evans isn't dead, Jax is lying to you! we can still save him! fight it Abi Fight it!". Without warning Abigail and Viper dash in to the attack, the two brave Sector V soldiers clutch their teeth and take a deep breath holding their swords into defensive stances, they had no chance on causing an injury on these two. All they could do now was dodge and weave every attack they throw at them.

The first sword strike from Abigail hits the sword of Astra at lightning speed as Astra yelled "Your better than this Abi! I cannot beat you not like this..... you hang in there!" The sword crashes to the ground but Astra manages to raise it fast enough to block the next hit as Abigail goes for a thrust breaking through Astra's defence as the sword knicks her arm and face. The hits were powerful as she dodges back throwing all the grenades she had in her arsenal.

15 jumps out of the way of the flying great sword of Viper rolling to the left with a swing of her Katana but Viper kicks it away sending her backwards as the great sword swings down above her forcing her to roll. The great sword cracks the road below sending debris flying and dust that blankets the field. 15 goes for a swing at the arms of Viper to try and disable her swings but it is stopped by Kremlins armour sending sparks out.
