The chains tug behind the girl as she tries all she can to break away from the captors who make sure it is wound up tighter, with a jolt she yells in pain holding her fists tightly as they start to bleed, the pain... was unbearable seeing nothing but the dead cold eyes of the scientists that were trying to extract it from her. She couldn't she wouldn't let them take the only thing that she could be reminded off what she was still here for.
Here for? That duty....the duty of protecting the other boats around her and the last bastion of humanity against any sea threats, It hit her with I told you so so many times like a broken record on repeat. She should of listened to not only Wolf who was trying to convince them by force to join with the rest of Azur Lane earlier but... his brother.... Anders. The name stirred something in her heart as she chocked back the blunt pain in her chest as the images flow in.
She left Anders to die that day and as a result he bled to death in her arms, the blood soaking deep into the thick black coat that she had. She couldn't even bring herself to wear the coat that represented the strength and power that Iron Blood had to offer being nothing more now than a haunting memory of a forgotten friend... a lover she betrayed. She left him to die there was nothing else she could say to herself about what she did.
A persons hand makes her jump out of her thoughts placing it on her chin with a twisted smile on his face. "Oh don't be sad Bismarck, once this is over you will be free from the pain that this world has brought you all because of that rigging of yours". The mans voice was twisted with every inch of sanity bled out of it as the silence from the scientists who continue to work on the machines trying to extract the cube out of Bismarck.
She tried another weak tug at the chains but they were to tight for the Iron Blood leader to release herself from as the man continued to see the struggle of the girl in front of him. His wicked smile on his face told her that he was enjoying the suffering she was going through but this was not the only one he has done. "You know we retrieved the cube of Yamato from the burning wrecks of the Sakura Empire and we have given it a new host".
He leans closer to her ear as she tries to block the mans uncomfortable voice that whispers in her ear as she looks to him with nothing but despair and pain on her face but to him it was more fuel to his feelings. "Richelieu stood no chance against the machine along with some of the others, their screams as the cube was extracted was nothing short of pleasurable!", "Your... Your a monster!" She tugs at the chains again with anger in her eyes but the man did not seem afraid.
His wicked smile only got bigger as he nods to the other scientists who press a button and a few levers as the painful sound of the machine screamed to life again with it's red glow that aims at the chest of Bismarck. She looked to the other scientists for a plea of help but they did not care, it was like they were enjoying the torture of the girl, she could not believe that SOLAR was going this far to take control.
It was sickening to watch and hearing the other yells in the rooms told her she was not the only one, with no other choice she begins to cry and whimper begging some god, some person to come and save them from this torture. With a tear splashing on the operating table the operating lights rumble back and forth and the Scientists get thrown around the place leaving the soldier to look up to see the dust falling from the celling.
He looked furious at the interruption of his experiment yelling at the scientists in some ballistic psychotic behaviour that makes them get up from the floor towards the consoles to continue the experiment. "You better make this quick! I will deal with our guests, you extract that cube from the girls, Command is waiting!" He yells running off in haste stomping his army boots on the floor as the double doors swing open then back as the scientists continue to complete the extraction.
