Chapter THE HOPELESS FEELING

The spear thrusts forward crashing into the water as Wolf and Emi back off, Wolf fires his main guns as does Emi who could only look in disappointment for Chariots choices. Always been prideful to the Empress but also loyal to her friends, the feeling hit her like a ton of bricks but she had to keep fighting. If there is anyway this madness will end, it is through Wolf, he was their only hope.
He dashes forward with his great sword colliding with the spear as he slams his fist into her side but is caught by her gauntlet but could not fire, dodging the fast wrapping chain of Emi who sprays her illusionary mist at Chariot. "Wait why am I not affected?" Wolf calls out mid fight sending a fist through to the confused Chariot who takes it square on sending one back but this time was caught by Wolf.
"Cause I can control it, however it has a much less of an effect on her since she is a Siren, it is more better for concealment of attacks Now!". The two strike at the same time with their cannons and missiles dealing serious damage to her armour of her rigging as some of the guns begin to falter themselves. Sensing the danger Chariot begins to glow an orange as Wolf follows with his overdrive looking directly at each other.
The two spring off the water exchanging hit after hit as the missiles fly all around them as Emi provides covering support dodging the shell fire from Chariot who yells "Fight me square on Hermit!, the half Siren is doing it!", "I follow different rules, first thing I tell my soldiers is that pride is an honour but too much erodes your ability to fight!"
Wolf swings his great sword in a circular strike landing a good hit to the head of the rigging as it creates a massive dint sending Chariot crashing to the water with a thunderous roar that could be seen all around. Her eyes open to see white plumes of smoke dart towards her position but the damage on the rigging was severe as it slams into the sides of the rigging shooting a massive amount of pain through her.
A blue mist forms over her blocking her view of the battlefield however a bright red hue forms on the mist from above as a person pierces from it's blanket with gritted teeth and a determined look he swings the blade down wards, she aims the gauntlet up trying to spark another fire attack but it was no use. The yell from the soldier sends another massive plume of water upwards only to evaporate into steam as he lands on the water watching the steam rise.
As the mist dissipates a siren rises from the water looking at him with a look of disappointment and anger, Chariots rigging is badly damaged, the final hit had managed to severe the crab like armour in half leaving behind a sparking mess. She looks to her gauntlet to see that it was also broken unable to do anymore for her as the strength in her body had been drained to it's last. "What are you waiting for Ghost of the Sea, the terror you bring has no end so what are you waiting for, strike me down".
Wolf looks to Emi who looks at him with a slight plea in her eyes to which Wolf nods. "Welp, I guess my job is done, I leave this to you Emi and Chariot if that is your name, take this from me, always question actions of leaders, no soldier should follow things blindly without knowing everything for it". Wolf waves his hand walking off to the others as Chariot looks at him, yelling out.
"That's it!?", "Sort yourselves out, I got bigger things to deal with" Chariot holds her fist up with gritted teeth however Emi chuckles a bit "Chariot, trust me if he really wanted to finish you off, you would of been dead the moment you appeared, When I fought him he was still getting used to his rigging but trust me you have not seen the full power of him", "Then he is a fool for trusting so easily", "Eh yeah maybe, however that is the only person standing between the end of the old world and the usurping of a new one".
