(50). - Faofa VS His Students.

We decided to take a little rest after the whole Wendigo battle as pretty much all of us were completely and utterly exhausted. It genuinely wasn't an easy fight - had I not discovered that weak spot in the last moment, we may not be alive and still kicking right now. Oh no, we'd be like Festia and we'd be collected by Lihk - Teachers supposed helper.

....Festia... She was instantly basically one shot, even though she managed to keep up with the Wendigo and put up what I'd call a decent fight against it, it still proved to be greater than her. But then again... No shocker there.

A Wendigo is at a minimum a C-Rank monster, so it makes sense why we struggled so much. But anyway, that isn't the thing I was focused on right now. Instead, I was browsing through my status window, simply admiring the changes in it after the Wendigo fight, considering that all of us had gained EXP based on our contribution to the battle.

.....Two new skills... Technically three, counting that 'Hawks Gaze' skill I had gained. And they were all high ranking skills nonetheless...
I mean Epic Skills are quite rare, but they aren't anything SUPER rare, however... The Individual skills I have.. those are an absolute rarity of a next level as to gain Individual skills one has to do something that is impressive enough.

Or something like that... I can't exactly remember. We haven't gotten too far in learning about skills and how they work and are obtained. Most we've gotten to is that Magic and Sorcery are only usable with the necessary skills. Without them, neither can be used.

It honestly was kind of... I don't wanna call it dumb but... It wasn't far off it.

I kept on just staring at my newly gained skills like a dog who had just been offered a delicious treat, but doesn't have the will or courage to eat it. It was completely natural... I think. I mean, was I weird for admiring something as rare as Individual Skills? Especially at my age?

While I stared at my status window, Jilk suddenly came up to me and sat down next to me, which caused me to quickly close my status window, just to keep my 2 skills a secret for now. After all, a student having skills - let alone individual ones - would be considered a 1 in a million.
