Reborn as a Snake! (2.) [COMPLETED]

(75). - Fall of the Tyrant.

          Almost immediately after the loud mammoth like shriek, the Demon Beast immediately charged at me with its double sided battle hammer, spinning it in a circle. Scuffing, I gestured to the summoned Shadow Beast to move in, and almost immediately, the Shadow Beast shrieked back before running at the Mammoth as well, before easily catching the incoming strike with the double sided hammer.

Then afterwards, the Shadow Beast pushed the hammer off of it and out of Ovonamas grip, before rushing in and beginning to punch the Demon Beast repeatedly, pummeling the mammoth back a bit.

Ovonama tanked the initial fury of punches, before catching one of them and retaliating with his own punches — which were doing a lot more to the Shadow Beast than the Shadow Beast was doing to it. Seeing as the Shadow Beast would not be taking down the mammoth, I began to brainstorm the best course of move I should pull off next.

It was clear that the mammoth demon beast was one that was capable of tanking a LOT of damage if needed. Infact, it looks like if I was to attempt to use any of my usual skills against it, they would do nothing — so I suppose 'Abyss Magic' and 'Shadow Manipulation' at best were just handy ways to stall it, not actually defeat it.

One option was 'Holy One' combined with 'White Flame Control' — but that was a risky one. I still wasn't confident in my knowledge and control over magic or I guess skills linked to the Element of Light, so I was unsure whether I could do much against this thing, even if it was a Demon Beast.

Another option was 'Serpents Wrath', but I liked to keep that until I had no other option, as it was my most powerful skill and greatest Trump Card.

I guess that leaves all my other skills...

As I brainstormed ideas, I heard a loud crash, followed by the Shadow Beast shrieking loudly, almost like it was in pain. Looking over, I saw as the Mammoth ripped apart the Shadow Beast, before stomping its head into a black mist, which seaped back into the shadows around.

That's it for my time to think — Gotta act now. Immediately as soon as the Shadow Beast was down the Mammoth looked at me before rushing towards me at full speed, the double sided hammer appearing in its right hand out of thin air, before it attempted to strike me with a downward 'slash' which I dodged with ease, but the impact of the attack had left a significant crater in the ground.

Seeing already the fact that this place isn't actually the academy third floor hall, but a separate space entirely for the second time now, I decided to not hold back as much as I would usually.

Y'know, seeing as this place isn't anything I should be concerned about destroying, may as well just not bother holding back my power as much as I would.
It's kind of the right choice in this case.

As soon as I landed from my dodge of the Mammoths battle hammer, I immediately activated my 'Limitless Acceleration' skill, before dashing at the mammoth at unreal speed, scaling up it's body with ease, before leaping up into the air above it. The Mammoth turned to look at me, before shrieking again — shaking the entire area around me and it.

This guy is getting REAL pissed off huh...

While in the air above it, I quickly used my 'Dupe' skill, creating around 5 clones of myself, before sending them all down at the Mammoth, who began to pick them off one by one, attempting to attack and managing to hit them — only with multiple tries however.

Meanwhile I created a platform below me with my 'Abyss Magic' skill, before leaping off of it and towards a nearby chandelier. Why? To try out a skill of mine I have been kind of dying to try out. Time to see what I can do with 'Chain Manipulation' shall we?
