While Faofa continued his adventures at the Yiinao magic academy and got deeper involved with the 'Myths' of the academy, Harold the Holy Prodigy, a Holy Knight was already a month or so in his journey — arounf half way to make it to Yiinao.
Over this last month, he has gone town to town, offering his help wherever he could and solving issues that the common folk were having — and of course, not talking anything in return for his good deeds as a part of the Holy Knight Codex.
At this point in time, Harold approaches a small village called 'Arara' which supposedly belonged to a small Gorgan community that wished to live closer to the human and other humanoid species civilization — having gotten tired of the supposed traditions that the Gorgans have passed down for centuries, in which it is said that a Gorgan may only live within the cover of the forest.
Unknown to him, the village has some troubling news surrounding the sketchy organisation known as the Hand Sons of Tritery, with many of their members having been spotted sneaking around the territory and even having attempted to peak into the village.
How will Harold help solve this problem?
Is he going to help at all, or stop by to rest before continuing his journey?Well... Let's find out.
It was a rainy day. The shine of the sun was no where to be seen, as dark clouds blocked the sky and drops of water dropped down upon the land at a rapid pace. Harold was still ontop of his horse, with a small shield created using Holy Magic above himself to shield himself from the rain as he continued to ride his horse further on.
The journey so far had been a bit cruel to the Holy Knight, having been set back by quite a lot due to the nature of being a Holy Knight and being obligated to help those who ask for it. Have it not been for that — perhaps he would be much further and closer to Yiinao than he was at this moment.
'Sometimes I question whether the Holy Knight Codex is really the right way to do what I and all of my colleagues do...'
Harold thought, exhaling underneath his helmet. His white armour was bulky and had changed a bit from when he left. It was — as stated before — more bulky than what he was wearing while doing his work at the Holy Night Orders main headquarters and it also beared a much tougher and heavier style to it — having been designed to take on at least S-Rank monsters in solo battles.
As his horse kept moving down the muddy, dirt path with the rain continuing to pour down upon Harold and his horse, the sight of what appeared to be a village in the not so far distance was visible. The village had somewhat normal looking houses and a decently sized wall around it — making it look a bit like a fortified military spot.
However, upon using his 'Soul Detection' skill, he was able to make out that the residents of the village were mostly Gorgan kind, with a couple of human families here as well.
'Perhaps I will try asking for a shelter here.'
Harold thought, before lightly signalling to the horse to keep moving slowly towards the village, with his horse first neighing before continuing to move forward towards the walled off village.
Approaching it closer, the village appeared to be mostly made using the wood from the surrounding woods, which Harold had been going through for already around 4 days with his horse. The wood used in the construction of the wall alone looked to be very sturdy and durable — having been tied together with black ropes, which upon closer inspection, appeared to be made out of obsidian shards that had been pulverised and then knotted into a rope.
