          As soon as the two of my 11 students walked into the field, I could feel this tension in the air between them. At the same time, I felt hesitation from both students as well — like they didn't want to fight eachother. Well, they didn't, but they were kind of obligated to do so.

Minus the tension and hesitation I felt coming from them both, I also could see their nervous expressions and hints of hesitation to even draw their weapons on their faces. These two were really dreading the fact that I had to face eachother. Which I suppose was understandable.

I had noticed it myself a while back, but Jilk and Morgan have been getting closer and closer to one another — or at least, that's what I've been seeing. It was clear to me that Jilk had feelings for Morgan, but it wasn't as clear when looking at Morgan, whether she harboured these feelings back towards Jilk. And so you could imagine that their hesitation to even start the fight between themselves because of how close they've been getting for a while now, most likely came from them not wanting to hurt eachother.

Jilk and Morgan also were some of the the ones who managed to last through the entire test I had given my students a day or two back, so they really were strong. I'd go as far to say that they might be the most powerful and skilled from the Misfits, despite Diamond technically having the most potential.

The crowd cheered on the two contestants, awaiting the match to begin. Lavia walked out and took a stance between the two students, before looking towards Morgan.

<Lavia>;
"Morgan Klier, are you ready?"

She asked.

In that moment, I could see Morgans hesitation to answer the question with 'yes' or any other positive word or sentence that would signify as her agreeing. The silence from her was brief, but long enough for the crowd to turn slightly confused.

However after a few moments, Morgan exhaled before gripping the handle of her sword in its sheathe, looking up towards Lavia with a serious and determined gaze.

<Morgan>;
"Yes ma'am."

She replied.
Jilk was noticeably surprised by Morgans answer, however did not say anything outloud.

Lavia nodded before looking towards Jilk, with the same dead stone serious gaze locked onto him just like she had done to Morgan.

<Lavia>;
"Jilk, are you ready?"

She asked once more, this time to the silver haired boy. Jilk, just like Morgan, was visibly hesitant to answer at first, however his silence lasted only a few moments less than Morgans, as he spun his spear and took his position, looking up towards Morgan and Lavia with a dead set serious expression.

<Jilk>;
"I am."

He replied a moment later. Lavia nodded once more, before looking away and then raising her right hand into the air.

<Lavia>;
"Now then fighters - take positions."

She commanded.
In an instant, both Morgan and Jilk took combat ready positions, clearly both of them ready to launch at the other the second they were allowed to do so.

Their seriousness was really a big 180 from how they were like just a couple of seconds ago.

Lavia awaited for both fighters to fully settle into their positions, before taking in a deep breath and exhaling a couple moments later.

<Lavia>;
"Begin!"

She announced, before quickly leaping back.

In an instant, both Morgan and Jilk launched at eachother at such high speeds, that it took the use of 'Limitless Acceleration' and the Ancient Ones abilities for my eyes to even keep up with their movements. The two students had gotten rid of all their hesitation to fight and were ready to take this battle as seriously as they would need to.
