I looked at Harold with a small deathstare, which seemed to send shivers down the Holy Knights spine, as he backed up a bit, before exhaling and spinning his sword — extending it towards me in what I could imagine was an attempt at a threat. I scuffed, before pulling my hands into fists.

Then, a chain flew towards Harold knocking the sword out of his hands before being tied up by the chains and ripped to pieces by the chains, as I pulled them back. Shocked, the Holy Knight looked towards me with now just plain fear in his eyes under the helmet, as I still floated in the air - holding deep black chains, that had this cracked look to them, the cracks glowing a bright light blue colour.

I exhaled lightly, before dashing towards Harold, closing the distance between us in pretty much an instant,  which once again, seemed to catch the Holy Knight off guard, as I punched him in the chest, the impact of my punch sending a burst of force behind him — so powerful, it was enough to level the labyrinth wall behind him.

Harold went flying back, before I quickly whipped the chains around — tying them around him and pulling him back to me, before pummeling him in the face, which sent him flying back even further.

After the punch, I quickly dashed after him, using the chains I wielded to boost myself and pull myself forward and gain more speed that way. I had turned the tables on this fight very badly - so much so, that Harolds new armour he had applied using his sword earlier was already basically gone, leaving the second layer of armour the only thing protecting him from deaths grip.

I once again whipped the chains around, dark aura leaking from them as they wrapped all around Harolds body, before I began to thrash him around, spinning all over the place and smashing him into the ground with as much force as I could muster up using the chains.

The others watched in absolute fascination and for some, slight horror. Irrna, Vien and Linna couldn't believe their eyes, while Arabor and Frindel looked a little more serious — like they were examining or watching me very carefully. It honestly felt like they were judging me or something...

I continued to thrash Harold around, using the 'Chains of Demise' as whips to keep my distance from the Holy Knight, but also using them to quickly close the distance between us by pulling him in towards me pretty much in an instant. It was beginning to look like I was bullying the Holy Knight who, just a bit earlier, had successfully managed to kill me.

This new found strength I gained...
This evolution...

It feels so familiar to that greater power I had managed to tap into a few times before this... Could it be... That whenever I tapped into a greater power, THIS power was the one I was tapping into and unlocking to use for a short period?

I pulled Harold in close again, before kicking him in the gut and sending him flying back. Harold hit the ground hard, his face dragging across the ground for a bit after landing face flat onto it. I stopped my onslaught of attacks for a second, wanting to make sure I did not kill Harold on accident through my thrashing. Yes, Harold managed to end my life, but I would like to know why he saw me as an enemy in the first place.

Call me foolish, but killing him does not seem like the best idea in this situation. If anything, it seems to me to be more or less the worst thing I could do in this situation.

Harold slowly managed to get back up his feet, however his body was trembling uncontrollably, showing clear signs of him suffering heavy damage from my onslaught of attacks that he has had to endure for a small bit now. Honestly, it was impressive that he still could stand up after suffering so many blows from me... I would have expected him to be able to barely even move a finger.
