(86). - The Impact of the Future.

       I could feel myself almost being weightless, as if I was floating somewhere in deep, deep space. All around me I felt this strange eerie emptiness, which reminded me a lot of what I felt when I had entered the Abyss, that time that I got fully corrupted by the 'Evil' that had infested itself inside th Abyss.

Only... This time, despite feeling sort of weightless, I also could feel my body, heart and everything. It was like I was physically floating. Opening my eyes slowly, I looked around confused — I was definitely not at the academy or anywhere I knew. This space... It was completely empty. A blank whiteness, with absolutely nothing around.

'What is this place...?'

I thought to myself, before looking down at my hands, which immediately caused me to gasp lightly in shock, before I blinked twice and looked at them again, only to see them normal. That was strange... For a second there, my hands looked like they did in my previous life as Rio Komeno...

That gave me a little heart attack for a bit, since as soon as I saw them I thought I had somehow returned to my previous life and body and even for a second, I thought that perhaps there was a chance for everything I have experienced so far to have been just a dream and nothing else.

However, disappointingly so, it seems it wasn't a dream and I still was the same I have grown used to being. A bit insulting if you ask me.

Looking around this empty blank space, I began searching for anything that I could use as a landmark in this place. Anything to go towards, literally anything that would be able to tell me where I am and what this place is.

While looking around, I spotted what looked like a rather impressively sized house off in the distance, deeper inside of this blank space. Seeing this house immediately made me happy and also sort of relieved, as it was a sign that perhaps I could meet someone who'd be able to tell me where I am and what I am doing here.

I looked down below me, before exhaling. Gravity obviously doesn't exist and it seems as though the Ancient One is not present here with me as I can not feel him inside of me.
That means I probably can't use any of my skills or magic inside of this... Whatever it is I am inside of.

I suppose I will call it 'A Blank Space' or something. I looked around for a moment longer, before exhaling and sort of 'pushing' myself forward and towards the house in the distance, managing to float towards it with ease. Honestly, it kind of felt like I was flying like this, which was pretty cool if you ask me. I've always thought about how it would feel like or be to fly and right now... Is probably the closest I'll ever get to having my answer.

It didn't take long for me to eventually reach the house, which surprisingly had some kind of Gravity on the small 'island' that it was located on, forcing me down onto it, and me to once again feel my weight — It felt like a normal world....
Well, without taking into account the blank space of NOTHINGNESS around me.

Exhaling again, I walked towards the houses door and simply examined it from bottom to top. It was a certainly.... Interesting looking house. And by interesting, I mean a VERY STRANGE looking house.

It was very tall, bendy and had this strange splish and splash of colours that did not go together. Honestly, it looked a lot like an art students or some artists work rather than an actual, functioning house where someone could live. Once I made it to the front door, I tried to peak inside through the window on the side, however I could not see a thing that was going on inside.

Taking in a deep breath, I picked up my left arm and lightly knocked onto the door.

"Hello? Is anyone inside? I could use some help."
