(60). - First Awakening.

       As the Ancient One announced the good news, I smirked before pushing the arrow back more, beginning to move forward while the skills colours kept flashing between red and light blue faster and faster, and faster.... Until...

My eyes ignited with the light blue colour, before suddenly all the markings across my skin also lit up, this light blue mist engulfing me, before the magic circle of the 'Serpents Wrath' skill stopped flashing and also became light blue. Then, the skill fired off.

Just like before, a cloud made up from lightning and smoke shot from the Magic Circle, before breaking through the arrow I was holding back and then dashing towards Yinyun at immeasurable levels of speed, the clouds eventually forming into a light blue serpent, which hissed and crashed down onto Yinyun, sinking into the ground fully, before a massive magic circle appeared below her.

<Yinyun>;
"H-Huh?!"

Before she could act, a giant light blue pillar of light engulfed her, reaching all the way up to the sky and even managing to force the clouds above to whirl around it at the top. It was a sight like no other - almost like a god had just descended down to earth.

Everyone watched in shock, even Flin now putting on a nervous face, while Klana grinned widely, looking at Faofa.

'I see... So this is why you took such a liking to him Frindel...'

She thought, leaning back into her seat.

The pillar of light remained in place for a few more moments, before fading into a thinner and thinner pillar, eventually completely dissipating, leaving only a cloud of dust and dirt up in the air. I took in a deep breath.

That wasn't enough to exhaust me, however using up 30% of my ENTIRE magical energy reserves in one go like that... Now that took a slight toll on me.

Why are my markings... Glowing? And what is this light blue mist that is flowing around me?

I was beyond confused at what had just happened to me and kind of hoping that the Ancient One would have some kind of answer or something to explain what had just happened.

Tapped into a 'Greater Power'? As in, I accidentally acquired access to power I am not meant to have?

I suppose that makes a little more sense. Well, to some extent. I wasn't sure what this light blue mist or the glowing markings on my body meant yet, however one thing was for sure...

I felt more powerful than ever before. It felt like I had gone through a whole new evolution again.

As the dust and dirt from my attack cleared, Yinyun leapt out of it and into the air, before landing back onto the ground, her outfit quite heavily scorched, and revealing little bits of skin underneath all her rags and everything she was wearing.

However, the fact that she had managed to survive 'Serpents Wrath' with just heavy scorches across her body was the impressive part.

Sure, it wasn't as powerful as 'Serpents Wrath' has been in the past, since I didn't want to use up all my Magical Energy in one go and be left helpless, however 30% from my 9 million magical energy stat was still a pretty big number...
I think so, at least.
