Reborn as a Snake! (2.) [COMPLETED]

{Intermission}(7). - The Orchid.

      Location - Edge of the World.

        Far, far from where Faofa and his friends were, at the very edge of the world, where time and space is at their weakest, a large gate stood, stone carvings and sculptures around them and in them. The carvings were split off into four images - each one was of a serpent in what appeared to be some kind of domain. The top right was one of a serpent among the stars, the one next to it - the top left, was of a serpent around the world, biting its own tail. The bottom left one, was of a serpent in what appeared to be a hellish landscape, with flames and lava everywhere.

Lastly, there was the bottom right image, of a serpent in a domain which looked lifeless — naked trees, bones and fossils as well as ruins reminiscent to a graveyard around it, as well as several 'shapes' that were vaguely human.

At the center of the four images, was a small ring that had a strange symbol — one of four snakes wrapping around a staff, which had a star at the end of it. The location around the gates was barren and empty, like a wasteland. There was not a single life form in sight — absolutely no signs of anything living around. Then, a crack in the ground appeared, before opening up and revealing a lava like substance inside it. Afterwards, a large shadow of a serpentine creature shot from the lava, before slithering onto the ground and out of the crack.

Once fully out, the serpent slowly slithered forward, shifting from its giant serpent appearence to a more human one. The human appearance was muscular and tall, the clothes it wore were tattered and ripped, with their colours being dull and washed out shades of red and grey. The human form also had long, flowing hair, which seemed to be made up from deep crimson red flames, with a slightly black tint going through the middle of it. The human form did not wear a shirt, showing off the muscular build, however it did cover up the arms using large, golden gauntlets. Lastly, the form had deep red, Serpent eyes — which had pitch black pupils at their center.

There were also strange markings all over the body, resembling cracks in magma or stone. The individual walked up to the gates and picked up his arms, placing his hands onto the large gates and then giving them a light push. The gates opened as soon as he pushed them, revealing a large bridge that was made from deep black stone, shaped into thr shape of a serpent, with its mouth biting into a large, round platform at the end.

The individual entered the gates, with them closing after him as soon as he stepped onto the bridge. He then moved down the bridge, eventually reaching the platform at the end, where at the center of it was a large ring like table, split into four different colours. One side was a deep crimson, with cracks that were coloured like magma, the next one over was in the shades of a night sky, with white dots, resembling stars. After that one, the next part was coloured in the colours of the world - various shades of green and brown.

Lastly, the last patch on the ring like table was coloured a black and white colour, with this boney texture to it.

There was only one other individual on the platform, apart for the man — a female one, who was sitting in the throne like chair which seemed to be made up from stars and the night sky, located at the patch of the desk that was coloured the same as the chair.

"You're late. Again."

She stated, opening her eyes and looking at the man with a fierce gaze. The woman was quite slender, with her outfit being almost skin tight on her, and a large cape and fuzzy collar, which were pitch black, with tiny dots that moved through the cape and fuzzy collar. Underneath that, her outfit was similar to a wizards, mostly being dark blue robes held together with white ropes and fabric. Her hands were covered by white gloves with black rings on them and her feet were snuggly inside of tall, black boots that had white rings around them.
