         I stared at the man who stood across the room with a slightly nervous gaze. There was no doubt, he was most definitely the one who was behind all this stuff going on across the academy... And he's undoubtedly a member of the Hand Sons of Tritery, of course. While it may be rude to assume without much word exchange, I believe I deserved a pass.

Maniacal laughter? Check.
Looks sketchy as fuck? Check.
Is the only one in this room who looks evil? Check.

If you ask me, he checked all the boxes for a typical villain in any story. The man seemingly examined me through his single eye on the mask with the strange swirl pattern, before letting out a small gasp and then chuckle.

I scuffed, tensing up a bit.

"What's so funny?"

I asked with a cold tone. The man chuckled a bit more, before exhaling and looking at me, placing his arms behind his back.

<?>;
"Do excuse me... I just didn't think that someone like you would be the one who killed Olhade and then beat up Flin twice."

I immediately backed up a bit as soon as he mentioned those things. How the hell did he know of them?!? Was he.... Just guessing? Maybe it was an attempt at intimidation, to try and make it look like he already knew what my deal was to try and get me to admit it myself...

Whatever it was, I was going to need to play it smart. Despite backing up a bit, which seemed to make the man smirk under his mask, I let out a small sigh before stepping forward again, looking at him with a cold and serious stare.

"I do not know what you're blabbering about, but I would appreciate it if you didn't spread rumours about me infront of other individuals."

I stated, before spinning my bo-staff and pointing it at the man, who simply exhaled and then laughed a bit afterwards.

<?>;
"Rumours? Hahahha... Oh no my dear friend, these are not any rumours. Just plain truth."

He replied, before turning to his left side and beginning to slowly walk around the classroom, sort of pushing me to follow suite and also start slowly walking in a circle around the classroom, of course in the opposite way of which he was heading in.

<?>;
"You believe yourself so clever, so smart because you've managed to pull of such impressive things without basically anyone being there to witness them, which led you to believe that your secret was completely safe and undiscoverable for anyone...."

He continued to speak as we slowly circled the classroom, keeping our gazes locked with one another. Well.... At least I was keeping my gaze locked with the eye that was at the center of that swirling pattern on his mask.

The man adjusted his tie, before taking in a light breath and turning his head slightly away from me.

<?>;
"However... You were gullible. You didn't stop to think if anyone was unto what you were trying to hide..."

He continued, once again turning his head towards me before stopping abruptly, causing me to also stop abruptly — us both having now switched our positions, with him standing were I had stood earlier and me where he had stood.

The man then turned to fully face me, before placing his right arm onto his mask and pushing it slightly off of his face, revealing a single, shadow covered eye peaking from behind.

<?>;
"....You thought that you were untouchable... Didn't you, my Dear Serpent friend?"

The moment I heard him refer to me as a serpent, I froze in my place, shedding a cold sweat while beginning to slightly panic inside.
No way... Did he know.... But HOW?!
