As all of us headed downstairs, I could spot a couple of strange stares be thrown towards us all. Other guests at the inn seemed a bit weirded out by the rather large group that we were, which I suppose was understandable. When do you see a group as big as ours chill around somewhere like an inn? You don't see that often.
We all walked past everyone else and joined Odale and Wezrall at a table which they were seated at, with Odale shockingly staying in his lich form - only this time, it was that form he took on to pretend to be Lihk, when I put my students through that test a while back in preparation to the Tournament of Spring Oval Blades.
Noticing us all, Wezrall immediately waved to us, before spotting me and standing up before walking towards me and nodding before extending a handshake towards me.
<Wio>(Wezrall);
"I'm glad to see that you're fine Shin. Also, welcome back."He stated with a soft and calm voice. This is exactly why Wezrall was probably my favourite from everyone. He was just like Frindel and Vien in the sense of wanting to serve under me, but his approach to it... It was so calm and almost I dare say, professional.
He genuinely seemed like the type to be an extremely experienced butler — even if he was technically more of my bodyguard than anything else.
I smiled lightly, before taking his hand and shaking it lightly.
"Yeah — Good to see you as well Wio."
I responded with Wezrall smiling towards me afterwards. After our handshake, I was pulled away by Vien and Frindel to sit down at the table, before the two of them took seats right beside me on both of my sides.
Gotta say, Frindel is taking this whole thing a bit too far — but I'm unsure on how to tell her. Mainly because, in the end of it all — these two aren't fighting for my heart or something, they're having a rivalry as two individuals who wish to be my subordinates.... Even if I don't understand why.
Iyka took her seat next to Odale, while Arabor sat down next to Wezrall, before seemingly reaching for his cigar in his coat, only to seemingly hesitate for a second and then exhale, mumbling something to himself.
After everyone settled down somewhat, I immediately looked towards Arabor.
"You said there was also some guests or something that had come to meet me?"
I asked.
Arabor looked at me and nodded, before crossing his arms.<Kevin>(Arabor);
"We'll have to wait a bit. They said that they will be here in a bit."He replied, looking down slightly. Wezrall seemingly threw a slight sideeye to Arabor, before exhaling and looking towards me.
<Wio>(Wezrall);
"Actually they are already here and waiting. We just have to call them over to this table or head over to theirs."Wezrall added, causing me to look over to him, a bit curious.
"They are?.... Well, I suppose we can head over to them then—"
<Kevin>(Arabor);
"No need."Arabor suddenly cut me off, causing all of us but Frindel and Vien to look at him. I was about to ask what he meant by that, but Arabor then exhaled heavily before turning his head slightly towards the right side and looking behind himself.
<Kevin>(Arabor);
"Stop hiding already. You snuck up on us and I was respectful enough to not give you away, but I also would like you to not waste our time."Arabor stated coldly towards... Thin air?
| Do not jump to conclusions yet Master. I detect a high density of Magical Energy to Arabors right. While we cannot perceive the individual, there is certainly someone there. |
