(85). - The Serpent who Saved a School.

Good. Those are fantastic news to hear. The giant creature finished charging up its attack, before firing off a large, dark red beam made of flames towards me — with that beam successfully colliding with me and completely engulfing me.

From afar, it looked as though the creature had just began creating a whole artificial sun, as the dark flames that engulfed me began to expand out into a large sphere like shape, spinning around me. Vien watched with a nervous gaze from afar, holding on to Odale who was still suffering pretty badly from his stunt with Hades he tried to pull.

The creature kept on firing its beam, the attack increasing in strength and concentration over time as the sphere that had engulfed me increased in size. It had looked like I was turned to ash by the creature.

However, things aren't that simple.
Light blue lightning flashed and light blue clouds and energy began to crack and break through the dark red flames as I stood upon a platform I had made using 'Abyss Magic'.

My eyes were shining light blue, while sparkling as bright as diamonds. My patterns were also all lit up, releasing this light blue mist which engulfed my body as I kept a serious expression across my face.

| Master, it appears you've once again tapped into that greater power level. It is increasing your Magical Energy output to monstrous levels. I do suggest to be careful. |

'Don't worry Ancient One — I will be careful.'

I replied to the Ancient One, before exhaling lightly to myself. This greater power that I've tapped into again... I still don't understand it nor why I am even able to tap into it and use it — however, if it allows me to defeat this beast even faster, then I am not complaining.

The beast, seemingly noticing that I haven't been incinerated by its beam yet, increased its output, increasing the power of its beam and causing it to expand in width and height, causing an even greater spectacle.

It even was enough to push me back a bit - however, only a bit as I grit my teeth and then scuffed, sharpening my gaze as I pushed forward with the light blue magic circle of Serpents Wrath infront of my right arm.

I closed my eyes, before taking in a deep breath and continuing to step forward towards the beast, using the Magic Circle in my hand to push through its beam of dark red flames.

Honestly, it felt like a pretty epic moment to me. Just a true moment of absolute power.

Almost like those moments in media, where the hero suddenly begins to overpower the villain with their power in the last moment, allowing them to win against the villain and bring them down. Just replace the hero with me and the villain, with a giant, larger than skyscraper sized monster.

The beast kept increasing its power output, even going as far as to opening its mouth open even more widely — all just to increase the power of its attack.

However, it was not enough.
As I took one final step towards the monster, I opened my eye in an intense moment, my eye shining with a bright diamond blue light.

Immediately following this, the light blue magic circle began to shine brightly, before all the light blue clouds and energy, and lightning began to enter into it. Then afterwards — a massive surge of energy output came next, with the power of my skill easily breaking through the attack that beast was firing off towards me, causing it to stumble back with its mouth open.
