(101). - Another Rematch against The Void Lord.

       Moving through the open area, chaos continued to ensue around me and Irrna. The members of the Hand Sons were scrambling all over the place, running around, shouting and overall falling into a panic as the 8 Shadow Beasts continued to maul through their numbers. The Undead monsters were shrieking loudly, their attacks doing absolutely nothing to the Shadow Beasts, who roared back, their voices shaking the entire labyrinth.

It genuinely felt like I was walking through a war zone — just, a war zone dominated by my army, not the other way around. Irrna still looked around at the Shadow Beasts with a concerned and nervous expression, clearly in a distress and even scared from what she was seeing right now.

She looked towards me, before shedding a sweat.

'If the beings he can summon are this powerful... Just how powerful is he himself?'

Irrna thought, keeping her pace up as much as she could, so she wouldn't lack behind me. I had a lot different expression across my face as I moved forward — one which was as serious as it could get, while also having a hint of worry.

To say that I was afraid of facing off against the Void Lord again would be an understatement. Last time I defeated him because I had rolled the highest possible number on the dice — aka, I had gotten stupidly lucky to evolve into a perfect counter to Flin at that time.

However.... That fight and event was a rather long time ago — 3 maybe 2 months. Who knows how much stronger he has gotten since then. After all, unlike anyone else I've faced — Flin is someone who has not only lived both encounters with me, but also become more powerful since them.

To say he is a genuine threat would be an understatement at this point in time.

As we approached the building in the back of the open field, some members of the Hand Sons spotted us before alerting the others and beginning to rush towards us — weapons in hand. The Shadow Beasts won't bother coming this close to the building, so I will have to deal with these guys.

The first few of the members that ran towards us, I easily knocked back by using my 'Soul Flare' skill, which I used to create a whip of blue flames and then thrash around the footsoldiers that ran towards us — tossing them around the place using the whip.

It was as easy as taking candy from a child.
....I take it back — taking a candy from a child is a terrible thing to do.

Once I broke through most of the members that had ran towards us, I made the whip disappear into the air before stepping up towards the entrance of the building.

| I can confirm, the Void Lord is inside and waiting. However, I suggest to be careful as we do not know what else may lie inside. |

'Understood.'

I replied to the Ancient One, before exhaling and turning to face Irrna with a friendly smile, while also keeping somewhat of a serious expression on my face.

"The individual that had attacked you and that Divine Being is inside here. Are you ready to move inside and face off against him?"

I asked, before lowering my head a bit.

"If you aren't, I will leave you out here with a guard protecting you."

I added at the end, preparing to summon another Shadow Beast using 'Shadow Manipulation'. While having 8 S-Ranked Shadow Beasts summoned already did take a bit of a toll on me, I still had enough Magical Energy to summon one more S-Ranked Shadow Beast and then have enough Magical Energy to face off against the Void Lord.
