Annabeth woke up at six, and went to her bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face. Once her teeth were brushed and her face was clean, she went to her room and grabbed a pair of leggings and a white t-shirt. The shirt was slightly tight on her chest, but baggy on her abdomen. As soon as she was dressed, she pulled her hair into a high ponytail, then slid on some running shoes.

By the time she was ready, it was about three minutes until she had to go outside. She quickly grabbed a couple of waters from the refrigerator and brought them outside with her. She left them on the front porch, knowing that they'd be just as cold, if not colder, by the time she came back from her run.

"Hey, Anna!" Avery exclaimed, as she jogged over to the porch where Anna had been standing.

"Hey, Avery." She replied, giving her friend a hug.

"I've been waiting for you to finally move to Forks." She commented, causing Anna to laugh.

"Sorry it took so long," Anna murmured,"Mom didn't want to let me go. She wanted to keep Bella and I close for as long as possible. I'm surprised she agreed this time."

Anna and Avery soon left the driveway, and began their run down the road. The girls would sometimes run further some days, and some days they'd turn around sooner, it just depended on how busy the roads were when they were running.

"Are you excited about spending the rest of your Senior year at Forks High?" Avery asked, causing Anna to shrug.

"I don't know, I'm so use to my other school," Anna answered,"but I'm excited to finish school with my best friends. I just wish you went to Forks High instead of going to school on the rez."

"Yeah, sorry," Avery chuckled,"but at least we can still hangout when we're not at school."

"How'd you get to the house anyway?" Anna asked,"I didn't see your car." She added, causing Avery to groan.

"I forgot to tell you the other day, but my car has to get a new tire rod," She replied,"Mom had me teaching Embry how to drive, and he seen a squirrel, freaked out, swerved to miss it, and ran off the road. He was lucky we weren't hurt, but my poor car was."

"I guess you're not teaching him anymore." She commented, and Avery shook her head.

"Absolutely not, it's on Mom now," Avery said,"I actually had to walk here this morning. I woke up at five, just to get here in time."

"I'll drop you off at home, before I go to school." Anna replied, causing Avery to smile.

The girls turned back around to head back to the Swan residence fifteen minutes later, which meant it was fifteen minutes to get back. This was about the same run every time they ran together, but there were times it was farther or shorter in length. It just wasn't often that it changed for them.

"You can borrow some clothes if you want, so you can get out of your sweaty ones." Anna offered, and Avery took her up on that offer.

When the girls finally got back to the Swan residence, Anna invited Avery inside. By this time, Charlie was awake, and he greeted the girls with a tired wave. He was use to having Avery around, it was almost like having a third daughter sometimes. She was comfortable enough to joke around with Charlie, and it was something Anna was happy about.

"I'm going to get a shower," Anna commented,"Avery will probably change, then come down and eat some breakfast before we leave."

"Okay," Charlie replied,"If you don't mind, wake Bella on your way back down."

"Can do, Charlie." Avery replied, as she followed Anna up to her room.

"Pick whatever you want to wear." Anna said, as she headed into the bathroom.

Avery grabbed a simple pair of black leggings and a grey shirt that stopped right at the top of the leggings. She made sure Anna was in the shower, before she opened the bathroom door and tossed her dirty clothes into the hamper. Avery and Anna often shared clothes, so it was normal for their clothes to be in the other's hamper. The clothes were returned days later, unless the other girl was coming over to spend a few nights.

"Bella! It's time to get up!" Avery called, as she knocked on Bella's door.

Bella knew Avery fairly well, considering Anna had been best friends with the girl since they were very little. Bella considered Avery a second sister, since she had known the girl for most of her life. Bella wasn't use to Avery waking her up for school, but she figured it might as well be something she got use to eventually.

"You want some eggs, Charlie?" Avery asked, as she entered the kitchen.

"If you don't mind." He replied, causing her to chuckle.

"You know I never do." She answered, and he smiled.

Avery was an amazing cook, and she loved to cook. Whenever Anna would spend summers in Forks, Avery would be over for days at a time, and she would cook for most of those days. They didn't force her to do so, she normally just offered to do so, or simply started cooking. She liked trying new recipes with Anna and Charlie, since they would eat almost anything she cooked. Anna hated fish though, as well as mushrooms, tomatoes, and spinach, so Avery tried to avoid those things. Anna would eat pizza, spaghetti, and tomato soup, she just wouldn't eat tomatoes or tomato juice, those two things made her want to vomit.

"Here ya go." Avery said, as she placed a plate of eggs in front of Charlie.

Charlie really believed that Anna had picked one of the best friends she could ever ask for when it came to Avery Call...
