By the time lunch had come along, Annabeth really didn't feel like being in school anymore. She had learned everything they were learning now, but she didn't want to seem like an overachiever, so she had to try and be on the same level as everyone else.

She, Crystal, and Alex grabbed trays and picked a couple of things for food. Anna really didn't believe the food looked appetizing, but she had to eat at least a little bit — she had skipped breakfast afterall. As soon as they sat down to eat, her two best friends turned to her with huge smiles.

"You talked to Emmett Cullen!" Crystal exclaimed, and Anna looked at her confused.

"Yeah, what about it?" She asked, making Crystal sigh exaggeratedly.

"Emmett doesn't talk to anyone but his family," She replied,"Actually, the entire family keeps to themselves."

"There they are," Crystal murmured, as the group walked in,"There's Emmett, and his girlfriend, Rosalie. That's Alice, and the curly haired boy next to her is her boyfriend, Jasper. Rosalie and Jasper are twins. Then the last one is Edward, he's a big asshole, but don't tell him I said that."

As if they heard Crystal talking, they looked over at the group of three. Emmett grinned and waved his hand at Anna, and she waved back. His girlfriend, Rosalie, looked up and glared at him. Anna knew then that Rosalie wasn't a huge fan of Emmett knowing anyone outside the family.

"Do you two want to go to La Push with me tomorrow after school?" Anna asked, causing her friends to shrug.

"Yeah, sure. It'd be cool to see Avery again." Crystal replied, and Alex blushed.

"What's with you?" Anna asked, making the boy blush a little more.

"Alex has a huge crush on Avery, but he won't tell her," Crystal said,"I tried telling him that she wouldn't make fun of him or anything, but he's too nervous."

"Well, maybe I can help with that," Anna commented,"I can always talk to her, and see if she has a crush on anyone. If it's you, then I'll lock you both in a room until you tell her."

Alex scowled at her, and Crystal simply laughed. Moments later, the bell rang, meaning everyone had to head to class. Anna sighed, as she dumped her tray, and followed her two friends very slowly out of the cafeteria. She did not want to go to class, but it wasn't like she really had a choice. Her Senior year would be over in a matter of months, and she really couldn't wait for it to end.

The next class Anna had was English, something she really excelled at. She sat down in a vacant seat, and waited for the class to start. Right before class started, the bitter blonde that was dating Emmett walked in. She sat down in the desk across from Anna, and she had her hands balled into fists and her jaw was clenched. It looked almost as though the beautiful blonde was constipated or something.

Anna finished her work faster than everyone else in the class, and she was able to just sit and read for the rest of the class. She had brought Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice, with her as the book she'd read when she wasn't busy. A few moments later, Rosalie went and turned in her work, and as she passed back by Anna's desk to sit down, she dropped a piece of folded paper in front of her.

Anna looked at the paper with furrowed eyebrows, before she turned and seen Rosalie sitting down. She could see Rosalie subtly trying to glance at her from the corner of her eye, and Anna simply scoffed and put her bookmark in the book. She then grabbed the paper and opened it to read what Rosalie had written.

'Stay away from Emmett. We don't need your friendship. You're a freak.'

Anna liked that she was bothering Rosalie simply because she existed. To further bother the petty blonde, Anna took the paper and began to rip it into little pieces with a small smirk on her face. Once the paper was in a million little pieces, she stood from her desk and carried the trash over to the garbage can. She then turned back around and headed back to her desk, only to turn to Rosalie and send her a sickeningly sweet smile.

If this girl wanted to think she was a freak or a bitch, she was going to let her. Anna held her head high and didn't care what Rosalie thought about her, and she definitely didn't care if Rosalie was mad at her. To Anna, nobody really mattered. She loved her sister, she loved her friends, she loved her parents, but at the end of the day, she loved herself more. It sounded conceited, but that's just who she was, and who she had always been.

She could put up a fake front for people that thought she was something else, but she'd eventually show who she really was. She thought it was pointless to act as someone else in this school though, since she was in her last few months of school before she'd be finished forever. She really didn't have a plan for after graduation either, which could become a problem, but she wasn't worried about it.

Honestly, Anna didn't know what she wanted to be when she graduated. She figured she could do something with her running, but there wasn't a track team at Forks High School. The school was too small for a track team, they only had football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. That was definitely one big thing Anna hated about this school, that and the fact that the classes were behind what she already knew. At least, when she took her end of year tests, she'd most likely know more than most of the other students, that was definitely something she could look forward to...
