Two days later, Bella was allowed to go back to school. Annabeth had to keep a close eye on her, considering she had been in an accident only a couple of days ago. Surprisingly, most of the Cullens had left Anna alone, other than Emmett, but Emmett was kind of her buddy in a sense. She didn't despise him as much as she did everyone else.
Anna had been rather disappointed when she wasn't allowed to skip gym class. She tried to tell the coach that she had to keep an eye on Bella, but the coach wouldn't listen. Instead, Anna had to run laps like a dog, much like all the other seniors in her class.
When the coach whistled for everyone to go back and change before class ended, Anna let out a sigh of relief. She hated any kind of sport inside of school. Running on her own terms was one thing, running for a fat guy that never ran in his life, is another.
Anyhow, she headed to the locker room and grabbed her clothes out of the locker. She also grabbed the wipes she always brought with her to clean herself up and keep the smell of sweat off for the rest of the school day. They didn't do running often, but when they did, Anna refused to smell the rest of the day because of it.
Once she was somewhat happy with her appearance, she walked out of the locker room and left the gym. As she was headed to her next class, she ran into Bella. Bella's friends were waiting on her further down the hall.
"I'm going with Jessica and Angela to Port Angeles to help them pick out their prom dresses." She commented, and Anna simply nodded.
"Have fun." Anna replied, before she waved to Bella and headed to class.
Once school ended, Anna headed straight home. She had a major research project to complete for history class, and she wanted to get it finished as quick as possible. She was very smart, but she really wanted to do as much as she could to prove just how smart she really was.
The girl hadn't even realized that she had sat on her bed for so long with her laptop in front of her. She hadn't even bothered to change into pajamas, the most she did was take off her shoes. She didn't realize how late it was until she heard the front door open and close, letting her know that Bella or her father was home.
She let out a groan and straightened out her back. A moment later, a knock was heard on her bedroom door. She called for the person to open the door, and she immediately seen Bella as the door opened. Bella held a pizza box in her hand, as she opened the bedroom door.
"I figured you haven't eaten yet," She commented,"I remembered how focused you were on that research project last year, that you forgot to eat, so I had Charlie pick up some pizza on the way home."
"Thank you," Anna replied,"I'm starving."
Anna grabbed a slice from the box, as Bella pulled the girl's laptop to see what the research project was about. By the time Anna had finished three slices, she was no longer feeling as stiff and tired. Bella took the box with a small smile, and headed back downstairs to give Charlie the rest of the pizza, as Anna stood up to get changed into her pajamas for the night.

James stood in the woods, lurking close to the house in Forks that had caught his attention. The scent he had been so mesmerized by had lead him straight to this house, and the scent was strong as he stood in the woods nearby. He looked through the window at the top of the house, and his eyes caught sight of a beautiful girl in the window.
The gorgeous brunette made his undead heart want to beat again. She was agonizingly beautiful, so much so that he wondered if she knew it. He didn't want to believe that the pretty human could have a hold on him like this; so fast and so strong, but she did. She had her fingers wrapped around his heart, keeping it in a vice, and she didn't even know it yet.
It may have been hours, or possibly minutes, that James stood watching the girl. He had hopped into a tree when he lost sight of her, only to see her laying down in her bed. He stayed in that tree for a while, watching the steady rise and fall of her chest as she slept peacefully. He wanted to get closer, he was desperate, but he refused to let the urge control him.
He was not some newborn, he would not be willed by an urge over some human. He had a feeling he knew exactly why she had this effect, but he didn't want to believe it. Who would? He was a vampire, she wasn't, and this was just not right. He could fix that, yes, but he had to observe her for a while longer. He had to make sure that she would be a good vampire, otherwise he'd have to learn how to live without her. He couldn't let this feeling take over his life, not if he wanted to survive.
The vampire stayed watching her for another moment, but he quickly disappeared when he seen her bedroom door open. Another brunette had entered the room, and she had purposely awoken the beautiful sleeping girl. James wasn't happy about it, but he didn't really know why it bothered him so much. He needed to distance himself from her. He didn't want scare the beauty by attacking the brunette that had woken her up. He didn't see the other girl's face, but after she barged in the girl's room, he knew he was going to hate this other brunette more than he should any other human...
