It took hours for Annabeth's head to stop throbbing. She hadn't been able to fall asleep the entire time, but that was to be expected. She mostly laid in bed, her window open to let in cold air, all the shades pulled to make it darker, and a cold cloth over her eyes. Eventually, the headache went away, and she was able to get up and move around without feeling like death.

It had been hours since the dream she had, but she hadn't forgotten a single detail. Most times, after a dream she'd wake up and remember nothing, or remember very little, but this one was different. She woke up and remembered it all, even hours later.

The girl was able to think a little more clearly now that her headache was gone, and she started to realize a couple of things. One, when she was dreaming, time was passing like a real day would, meaning the sun was really peeking through at the time it was in the real world — making her wonder if it was still the real world for her in the dream, slightly. Two, the woods she had woken up in was the one near her home, she knew that because she seen the broken table she and Crystal had accidentally broken and hidden years ago.

Anna wasn't really one of those people that would go out of her way to investigate things, but for some reason, she had a feeling that she needed to investigate. She needed answers, but anyone else would call her crazy. Nobody was home, she was by herself, so she wouldn't have to explain herself to anyone about what she was doing or where she was going.

Anna got up from her bed and went to her closet to put on something warmer than her pajamas. Even if the pajamas weren't a problem in her dream, she knew it would be different now. She would definitely freeze if she went out in shorts and a shirt without any real clothes to conserve body heat. Honestly, she never really got cold easy, but wearing shorts in the ice cold air would make her feel cold.

As soon as she was dressed, she slipped on her shoes and headed out of the door

As soon as she was dressed, she slipped on her shoes and headed out of the door. She felt a little hesitant, as she came upon the entrance of the woods. She remembered when she was a little younger, and someone told her they seen a wolf in the woods, and that scared her. She really didn't want to get eaten by a wolf when she had no one to save her.

After a minute or two of second guessing herself, she simply shook off the fear and headed into the woods. She wasn't going to let anything stop her anymore. She wasn't going to be the scared little girl she was before, she was going to feel almost safe in the woods. She was right next to her house, so she didn't have to feel scared of anything.

Anna walked a bit into the woods, until she came upon the broken table. She glanced around, but she really didn't spot anything different. The woods looked like they always would, and nothing really seemed to be disturbed. The only problem was that Anna felt eyes on her, but she really didn't see anything or anyone around. It made her worry that maybe her dream was telling her something; maybe there was a vampire in the woods. She didn't feel scared in her dream though, and she began to wonder if she needed to feel scared of the vampire — if it was even real.

Unbeknownst to Anna, the blonde vampire, James, stood some feet away, watching her with curiosity. Most humans were dumb, and they'd go searching like a man on a hunt, but not Anna. No, she entered the woods because she was curious, and that made James wonder just how different she was from the other humans. He wanted to approach her, but he couldn't. He would watch her from afar for now, and eventually get the nerve to approach the girl for real, because her self-projection from her dream was nothing compared to physical.

After about ten more minutes of glancing around the area, Anna decided to head back into the house. She wanted to get some food, since she was starting to feel a bit hungry. After a really bad headache, if she tried to skip eating, the headache would eventually come back worse. She had learned that the hard way, and she didn't want to do it again.

Once she was inside, James took a couple of cautious steps forward. In the next moment, he had quickly turned around and grasped the other vampire that was lurking by their neck. Immediately he seen that it was Victoria, causing a growl to leave his lip.

"I told you to stay away!" He spat, and the redhead narrowed her eyes.

"What good is this human, James?" She questioned,"You are supposed to be with our Coven...with me. Why are you here with this human?"

"It's none of your business, Victoria." He sneered, making her even more upset.

"She's supposed to be our food! She's nothing!" Victoria exclaimed, causing James to grip her neck tighter, causing little cracks to form on her porcelain skin.

"If you even step in her direction, I will end you. She is not food, and she is more than you will ever be, you insufferable wench." He spat, before letting go of the redhead.

Victoria stared at him with anger filled eyes. She was beginning to hate this human more and more, but there was nothing she could do about it — not yet. James was too focused on the human, but if Victoria could get him away for a hunt, she could come back, and she could get her answers about the human. If she really felt like it, she could even end the human's existence, and James would never see it coming...
