At the sound of the doors opening, everyone seemed to turn towards the doors. Annabeth walked in with an angry look on her face, and everyone but Bella, could see the evident red eyes and pale skin she was sporting. She had been turned, and the Cullens hadn't been there to save her.

"Anna?" Alice called, surprised to see the older Swan girl.

"Get away from him!" She yelled, her fists clenched tightly.

"Anna, he hurt Bella. He bit her. He--" Carlisle tried, but Anna wasn't listening.

Anna ran forward and grabbed Emmett, throwing him across the studio.

"I said leave him alone!" She exclaimed,  turning to the other Cullens,"I don't care what he did, I will end you all if you touch him."

"Anna, please!" Edward pleaded, but Anna wasn't listening.

Angrily, Jasper ran forward, but Anna kicked him away. He didn't want to hurt her, she was misunderstood, and she was confused, and he wanted to be her friend and help her. The only way he could do that, was if they took out James.

Jasper tried to keep her distracted, as Emmett and Edward ran to attack James. Anna was quicker though, since she was a newborn. She shoved Edward back, knocking him into Jasper, and they both flew into a glass pillar. Anna growled at Emmett, as she helped James to his feet. With both of them working together, they were able to get free of the Cullens. Anna was stronger than them, and though she wasn't as tactical and steady on her feet yet, she was still harder to defeat. She was protecting her mate, the Cullens realized that, but they would do anything for Bella.

Anna and James ran towards the door to leave, but Edward caught her before she could get away. He wrapped his arms around her neck, ready to decapitate the vampire, but Bella cried out. His hold loosened when he heard her words.

"No! Don't hurt her! Please!" Bella cried, and though Anna was helping the vampire that had tried to kill her, Bella wanted to protect her sister like Anna had done for her for so many years.

Edward let go of Anna, and within seconds, Anna and James were out of sight. Anna left behind the sunglasses and bandana, knowing she'd never need them again now that she had James. He was alive, she had saved him, and now she would never have to hide from the world again unless it was necessary.

Once they were far enough away from the studio — in an entirely different state — James and Anna stopped running. They were hidden by the cover of the trees that surrounded them, which was what Anna was going to eventually get use to. Anna wasn't always a fan of the woods, but it seemed her life had other plans for her.

"Who turned you?" James asked, a frown coming upon his face.

"Victoria," She replied, causing him to growl,"She turned me, so I could save you."

"Though I am grateful that you saved me, I do wish that I had been the one to turn you," He said,"She did it forcefully, that I am sure. You didn't deserve that."

"If she would've come to me and told me you were in danger, that the Cullens were going to end you," She bit her lip, "I would've done anything to save you. I would've agreed to being turned, just to protect you from them." She admitted, and a small smile made its way on to James's face.

"You saved me," He murmured,"You turned your back on them all for me."

"I couldn't handle the thought of losing you." She replied, venom prickling her eyes, a ghost of the tears she would never shed again.

"You, my beautiful Anna, are all I will ever need," James said, as he wrapped his arms around her,"We have eternity together, and though eternity may never feel like enough, we will live each day as though it was our last."

"I love you." She confessed, her eyes slightly widening when she realized what had come out of her mouth.

"I love you, my darling." He murmured, his voice dark and lustful, as he placed a kiss on her neck.

Anna and James were finally able to have their first kiss, and in Anna's mind, she felt as though their lips fit each other like they were pieces of the same puzzle. She was deeply, undoubtedly, and devotedly in love with James, and she would do anything to be with him forever.

"We should go back to Forks," James said,"Nobody should be at your house. You could pack a few things, and we could find ourselves a place to stay."

"I thought you liked traveling and tormenting the world." She replied, joking slightly.

"I do," He answered, chuckling softly, "but I will do anything to have a perfect life with you. If you want to travel, then we shall travel the world, and if you'd like to find a house and live like the Cullens, we shall do that as well."

"Whatever we do, and wherever we are, I will be happy," Anna commented, "as long as I'm with you."

Anna hugged James again, but because she was a newborn, she didn't know the extent of her strength yet. With the force behind her hug, James grunted, letting her know that she was crushing him slightly. She quickly loosened her grip and smiled sheepishly at James.

"Sorry," She murmured,"I'm still getting use to my strength."

"It is fine, my darling," He replied,"and speaking of strength, you should learn to feed on a human. I want to see just how strong you are, my beautiful mate."

Human Anna would've felt bad about attacking a human. She would've refused, and possibly even cried at the idea, but not this Anna. Vampire Anna seemed almost completely fine with the idea, only slightly nervous about messing up. James was there to help her though, and with his help, she'd never make a mistake...
