Part 160~ Diagnosis and heartbreaks

Shoyo got up and picked up the phone, "Hey Nats-" He paused, she sounded panicked, and was talking so fast that he couldn't understand anything.

"Natsu, slow down" He said, walking into the kitchen.

"Shoyo, you have to come to the hospital. It's dad"

Shoyo froze, "what hospital?" He asked as he walked further away from the kids.

Tobio got up at this point and went over to him with a concerned look on his face.

After a moment, Shoyo got off the phone.

"What happened baby?" Tobio asked.

Shoyo looked up at him for a moment, "I have to go to the hospital, somethings wrong with my dad"

Tobio looked down at him, "I don't want you going by yourself. I'll see if my mom can come watch the kids and I'll go-" He said.

"Tobio I'll be fine, i think it's best if I just go for now. I'll let you know when I get there" Shoyo said.

Tobio just looked at him for a moment before pulling him in for a hug. "Please be careful baby" He said, kissing his head and gently stroking his back.

The drive to the hospital was nothing short of nerve racking for Shoyo.

He pulled into the hospitals parking lot, and parked in a spot that was closest to the emergency room entrance.

He sent a quick text to Tobio, letting him know he got there, and that he would call when he got some news.

In the hospital, he checked into the front desk, and a nurse directed him to which room his dad was in.

He had been moved from the ER room, to a private room for now which was a few floors up.

The nurse stopped in front of a door that was only a few doors down from the end of the hall. She gently knocked on the door.

After a moment, the door opened, Shoyo looked up and saw Natsu, who spotted him and immediately broke down.

Shoyo walked to her and pulled her in for a hug, "It's okay" he said, holding her close as she cried.

Natsu separated, wiping away a tear before she lead Shoyo into the room.

"Dad-" Shoyo walked up to the hospital bed, and hugged Takeo, who looked a bit surprised to see him.

Takeo just smiled as they pulled away, "How are you feeling?" He asked.

Shoyo looked at him and shook his head, "I need to be asking you that, dad. What happened? Did you faint, do you feel sick-"

Takeo just chuckled, "Shoyo, please don't worry about me. I don't want you stressing right now, I didn't even want them to call you. I just had a silly fall" he smiled.
