(A month later)

Shoyo smiled as he looked down at Kaito, who was snuggled up next to him.

He gently ran his hand through the little boys hair, and let out a light sigh.

The past month has been stressful, dealing with his dad's cancer diagnosis, taking care of the kids and house, and doing his best to stay focused on them all, and on top of everything the stress has been making pregnancy very difficult right now.

Shoyo looked down as Kaito stirred awake, the pup sat up and looked at his mama, a small smile appeared on his face before he went in for a hug.

Shoyo chuckled and held him close, "Good morning buddy" he smiled and kissed the pups head.

"Mama" Kaito snuggled closer, relaxing in his mama's arms.

Shoyo looked over to the front entrance hallway, hearing the front door open then close.

He smiled when Tobio walked through. Yawning as he placed his work bag down.

Tobio looked over at Shoyo, his face softened as he walked over to him.

"Hey baby" Tobio leaned down and placed a gentle kiss onto his head.

Shoyo smiled and reached up, gently pulling him into a short kiss.

The two separated, looking down at Kaito who had fallen fast asleep again.

"Do you want me to take him up to his room?" Tobio asked.

Shoyo looked up at him and shook his head, "It's alright, love, I just want you to get cleaned up and comfortable" he smiled.

Tobio just smiled, "I'll go get washed up then come back down to bring him into his room"

(Half an hour later)

  Tobio stepped out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist as he walked over to the bathroom counter.

He walked out to their bedroom, and grabbed a change of clothes. He changed into a plain black shirt, and navy blue lounge pants.

Once he was all done, he slipped his house slippers on, and headed back downstairs.

He walked back over to Shoyo, who was now just scrolling on his phone, with Kaito still sleeping next to him.

"I'll take him up to his room" Tobio said quietly as he walked up to them.

Shoyo just nodded, setting down his phone and carefully shifting Kaito to the side with the help of Tobio, who then gently picked him up, bedding carefully not to wake him.

Shoyo let out a breath, and stood.

The couple brought the sleepy boy upstairs, and tucked him into bed. They made sure he looked comfortable before leaving the room.

Shoyo left the room first, Tobio shut the door behind himself after he left the room.

He looked down at Shoyo and smiled.

Shoyo looked up at him, then just quietly hugged him, turning his head to the side and pressing it against Tobio's chest.

"How are you feeling today baby?" Tobio asked as he gently wrapped his arms around him, running his fingers through his soft orange hair.

"I just missed you" Shoyo said, hugging him tighter.

Tobio smiled to himself, and held him close. "I missed you too baby, I'm off for the weekend so let's just spend the weekend in"

Shoyo nodded, "Can we go lay down" he asked, looking up at Tobio who nodded.

The two checked on all the kids before going into their room, but left their door slightly open just in case the kids needed anything.

Tobio helped Shoyo into their bed, then climbed onto it next to him.

Tobio rested his back against the headboard, while Shoyo laid down, his head rested onto his chest.

Tobio wrapped an arm around him, and gently brushed the hair from his face with his other.

Shoyo relaxed into Tobio's touch, he ran his hand over Tobio's chest and moved closer.

"I love you Tobio"

Tobio looked down at him and smiled, "I love you too baby"
