  Shoyo looked to his right, and stood up seeing Tobio walking up to them.

He broke down as Tobio embraced him, he felt his husband's warm scent surround him, and even if it was just temporary, he felt calmer.

Tobio kissed the top of Shoyo's head, and just held him close.

He looked over at the seats, "Natsu" he said, then as she looked up, opened his arm.

His heart broke as Natsu stifled back a sob, and just went to his arms.

He held the two close, telling them it would be okay.

(A few hours later)

It was now seven in the morning.

Shoyo was asleep on the armchair next to Takeo's bed, while Mira was asleep on the bed with Takeo.

Tobio was sat next to Natsu on the extra chairs the nurses brought in for them, they were near the window.

Tobio set down his phone, he had just been texting Miwa to check in on the kids.

He looked at Natsu, who was just sitting there playing with the hem of her shirt.

"Hey" Tobio said quietly, then stood up. "I'm gonna get some coffee, why don't you come with me?" He said.

Natsu looked up at him, and just nodded after a moment.

Tobio gave a gentle smile. He went up to Shoyo, who was almost curled up on the armchair, he picked up the blanket that was hanging over the edge if the chair and gently laid it over him, he gave him a kiss on the head and looked at him for a moment before walking over to Natsu and motioning for her to follow.

  The two went down to the food court, and Tobio grabbed them both coffee's.

He handed Natsu a cup, and she said a quiet thank you before turning to start walking back up to the room.

Tobio looked down at her, "Natsu" he said, putting a hand on her shoulder, "let's sit down for a minute" he said then brought her over to the cafeteria's tables.

The two sat, an awkward silence settled between them for a moment.

Tobio looked at her, "I don't want you to feel like you have to talk but I can see that you're struggling right now. I just want you to know that I'm here for you"

Natsu teared up and looked down at the table. "We can't loose our dad" she began to cry.

"He's all we have left- I know the doctor said there's treatment, but what if that doesn't work or-" she began to ramble, not making much sense as she tried her best to speak between sobs.

Tobio just stood and sat next to her, bringing her into a warm embrace.

"Don't think about what might or might not happen, all we can focus on is now. We are going to help him through everything now, that's all we can do" he began.

"I'm going to be here every step of the way for you guys, and I'm always here for you if you need to talk. Our door is always open." He said, separating for a moment and gave her a soft expression.
