In that moment we both knew it was over but we both still wanted to hold on we were all we've ever known. Letting go meant letting go of years we've spent knowing each other. We knew in that moment that we had to let go of everything because if we didn't, we would continue to go back to each other we had to cut off full contact in order to move on. We knew that we tried so many times to stay friends but we always ended up in each others beds. In order for the both of us to move on in life we can't be in each other's lives anymore. But I don't think were ready for that.
