We yell how long we've gone without eating a crossed the classroom at recess we give each other tips. When we get home, we send each other articles and videos on how to lose weight quick. We watch in the bathroom as girls pinch their skin and say they need to lose weight and there thinner than us which means we must not eat. We go to the store and our moms asks if we want a chocolate bar and as we're about to pick we look up and see the models and all of a sudden food doesn't interest us. Nothing does. We compare ourselves to models at school. We learn that the tips basically just say not to eat. We didn't realize how damaging it was. We didn't realize how long the tips would stick to us. Oh, how I wish I could save my 6th grade class.
