CASSANDRA'S POV
"Their uniform is too expose!" inis na reklamo ko habang nakatingin sa uniform na suot ko.
The uniform consists of a tailored blazer in deep shades of black or navy, adorned with intricate crest embroidery on the breast pocket. The blazer is structured and fitted, adding a touch of formality and authority to the students' appearance.
Underneath the blazer, students wear crisp white dress shirts with high collars, giving a classic and refined look. The shirts are neatly tucked into pleated skirts for female students or tailored trousers for male students, completing the polished ensemble.
"Cassandra? Is everything okay?" rinig kong tanong ni Mama sa labas. Napabuntonghininga nalang ako bago sumagot. "Yes, Ma!" I shouted.
I just applied light make-up. Pink liptint and I also applied a blush in every cheek, concealer, eyeliner and mascara.
I just let my hair down. Magdadala ako ng isang bag para lagyan nung librong ibinigay ni Tita Lily kay Mama. Baka kasi mawala, mahirap na. Madami pa akong babasahin dun.
Madaling araw pa lamang, it is still 2 in the afternoon, and here I am. Nawala na rin kasi yung antok ko. And Mom also told me that malayo-layo rin yung byahe. The Academy is full of Vampires and Werewolves. Medjo kinakabahan ako, hindi naman sa ano, pero first time ko kasing pumasok ng Academy.
"Bagay sa'yo, anak. Ang ganda mo talaga." hindi ko na napansin na nakapasok na pala si Mama sa loob. Lumapit ito sa'kin at hinawakan bahagya yung balikat ko. "Be a good girl there, huh? Uminom ka ng dugo every hour para hindi ka mawalan ng enerhiya. . ." paalala nito.
"Ma, I know. . . you don't need to remind me, I'm good, you know?" nakangiting ani ko na ikinatawa niya.
"I know, hindi ko lang talaga kayang hindi ka pagsabihan kasi wala kami ng Papa mo dun to secure your safety." aniya.
"I can handle myself, Ma. There's nothing to worry about."
I can't blame them. They're just doing their priority, which is me. Nag-usap na kami kahapon, and sadly, wala si Papa ngayon, he's always busy. Hindi na niya ako mahahatid ngayon, even Mom.
"Oh sya. It's almost time, you need to go na- be safe okay?" she softly said.
Tumango ako at niyakap siya. Hinatid na ako ni Mama sa kotse namin, yung driver ng family namin yung maghahatid sa'kin sa Academy. He looks in mids-30's.
"Goodbye, Ma. Pasabi na rin kay Papa na paalam." I gave her a weak smile.
Sumakay na kaagad sa kotse at agad naman pinaharurot ng driver namin yung kotse.
Natulog nalang ako buong byahe dahil wala naman akong magagawa buong byahe kundi ang magmukmok.
"Gumising kana, Cassandra. Hindi ka pwedeng matulog habang buhay, hindi maaring magtagumpay ang ninanais niya."
"S-Sino ka? At nasaan ako?"
"Galing ako sa nakaraan at 'eto ako upang balaan ka. Ika'y nasa itim na mahika, kailangan mo 'tong labanan."
