Nighttime arrived sooner than expected.
They settled in a small prairie surrounded by trees and rocks, taking advantage of the natural landscaping to protect themselves even further.
Nakyum laid down on the blanket his husband had scavenged for him as Seungho changed the baby's dirty diaper illuminated by the fire pit the betas had prepared; Heesung heated up some of the food they had in storage, ready to portion it now that they had new mouths to feed; Dan helped out settle down some extra precautions for the night and Jaekyung had told the team that he would take the first shift that night.
Not like anyone else wanted to do it or something, but Dan knew exactly why he was quick to take the first shift.
They would have sex again tonight, as soon as everyone else was asleep.
It's not like he didn't wanted to: Jaekyung was really good in comparison to his previous experiences, but he just hoped the alpha didn't misunderstood this as something else, although he seemed to have gotten the message clear back in the pharmacy.
After dinner, the first ones to fall asleep were the betas, followed quickly by Nakyum and his child, who rested peacefully close to their alpha. Dan laid down to pretend he was asleep for a while, witnessing how Heesung fell close to Potato and finally, after Jaekyung started patrolling the area, Seungho allowed himself to let his head down as his hands had his husband's face semi-cupped.
He waited for a while, at least an hour or an hour and a half just to be sure no one would wake up. Jaekyung's steps surrounded the camping area, oftentimes getting lost in the wooden foliage, but always coming back to check on the team. Once time was due, he approached Dan's sleeping spot, moving him softly as Dan opened up his eyes.
―You're ready now? ―Dan whispered.
―I was born ready. Come on, I set it up.
―Set what up? ―he commented as he took the alpha's hand to impulse himself up, starting to follow him.
Jaekyung guided him in between the nearby trees and rocks close to the camp, turning his head back once in a while as he made sure no one saw them sneaking out. Just as expected, the only thing to move in the camp was Yoongu, who held tight to Heesung in his sleep. When they were in a good distance away from the camp, he showed Dan what he had prepared.
It was a blanket on the floor and next to it a lantern they had stolen from the convenience store. This kind of resembled, at least to the omega, that first time he did it with Tae-Kwan, long before he turned into something worse than the undead. It's a little funny how he's back at this similar scenario now with a completely different person.
The alpha looked at Dan's pondering face and then at the blanket. "Perhaps," he thought. "I should've planned something better."
―I know it's not a five star hotel or anything, but...
―No, no. I like it.
The omega chuckled softly as he sat right where the alpha's blanket was placed for him, looking straight at his eyes as Jaekyung sat right in front of him. Before he could say another thing, his lips were immediately sealed by those of the alpha, surprised upon his intensity. He could hear his heavy breathing over his nose when he started biting and sucking on his lip as he tried his best to reciprocate, letting himself be laid down on the floor. The alpha, in a fast movement, took off the omega's hoodie, putting it to the side.
