Night 337

After placing his son in the borrowed crib another woman had given him, Nakyum tilted his head slowly, looking at his baby sleep peacefully covered by a blanket and with his arms and legs fully extended, star shaped. He sighed softly, feeling his husband hug him from the back as they both looked at Sanghyun and then at their bed. Seungho, marking his man with his scent, kissed his husband's head, resting his chin softly on it as his eyes sat on his son. It didn't took long for him to fall as deep in this sleep as they expected him to, considering he was in a crib and in a new place, and he couldn't be grateful enough for that.

You know? To not have any kids around they surely have a shit ton of stuff in here for him.

You're right... he likes his new pijamas...

I changed his diaper, so maybe we're good for a couple hours.

I know...

What is it? You smell worried.

I'm not worried... ―Nakyum answered, holding his husband's arms. ―It's our first night with him sleeping on a crib.

That's amazing, isn't it?

It is... I can't believe he's getting so big. I want him to stay tiny forever.

You knew it was bound to happen someday... it's what all babies do.

I know.

Nakyum turned around, smiling softly at his husband. He closed his eyes when he felt Seungho's lips leave soft traces on his eyelids, giggling as his husband filled his face with them, guiding him to the bed.

Ready to sleep without a slapper in the middle?

I think so... ―he chuckled, soon enough laying down in their bed and promptly hugging his husband, taking a deep breath.

Their room was quite nice, even if the crib made it feel a little clustered. It's been so long since they had any kind of privacy like this after months of being in groups, sleeping clumped together in any space they could find: to be by themselves again was surely an odd thing to think about nowadays. Seungho held him tight, allowing his back to rest after such a long day, and stared at the ceiling, incapable of sleeping from all the drama that ensued at dinner.

I can't believe Dan is pregnant... I can't believe I was right. ―Nakyum sighed. ―He was so sure he wasn't and then, poof!

Why did he thought that? It's obvious that if you spend a heat with someone you'd get pregnant, it's quite literally what happened to you.

He had his own reasons to believe that, trust me... but I wonder what he's going to do.

How so?

You know having a baby is something rough, and if we are still going to Busan he could endanger himself... What do you think?

I think Jaekyung seemed pretty surprised too. ―he nodded. ―Who gave these people sex-ed? It seems like no one here knows what happens when you have unprotected sex on your cycle.

Nakyum chuckled, shaking his head. ―Well, Dan took a pregnancy test back at the pharmacy and according to Heesung it was negative... maybe that's why neither of them saw it coming.
