Day 290
―And I think we're all set. How do you feel? ―Dan looked at the father of the group as the man put on back his shirt after giving him a quick massage.
The man, as soon as he had his shirt back on, started to stretch a little, feeling his relaxed muscles only with the occasional throb. Sure, his wound wasn't going to get away just by one massage, but Dan's hands were almost magical, and they surely did their work on his injured back.
―Feels so much better... thank you so much, Dan. ―Seungho nodded, feeling his husband's kiss on his cheek.
―Here, take this, as a token of appreciation. ―Nakyum smiled, handling Dan one bottle of water.
―I cannot take it, Nakyum, that's yours to use. I think Sanghyun could use it better for his milk. ―Dan shook his head. ―Besides, I don't have a backpack...
―We'll find one for you, I know that. ―the omega grinned at him. ―Don't worry. We got your back.
―Thanks.
Dan stood up, still a little weary from his bad sleep the previous night, and opted to walk over to the folded blanket he had borrowed from Potato, wanting to give it back. He doesn't have his backpack anyway, and holding onto it will just be counterproductive in the long run.
―Here you go. Thanks.
―You're welcome.
The omega nodded at him, walking over to wait next to the door and wait for the rest to get their stuff together, crossing his arms for a moment as he shrunk inside his hoodie. He's so tired, so done, and Jaekyung's stare on him from the other side of the room is not making him feel any better.
"Why is he staring at me so intensely?" Dan looked back at him, raising an eyebrow as he tilted his head in confusion.
"He'll talk to me today." Jaekyung stood up, hanging his bag on his shoulder as the group started to head out towards the exit, following Dan's steps.

Quietly walking down the street and using Dan's knowledge of moving throughout urban areas, the group followed the recessive omega. Nakyum was holding his child for now, rocking him softly so he wouldn't dare to wake up in the middle of this apparent ghost town. Since this was an area that back in the day used to be a touristic attraction to hikers, there should be something useful for the long trip they have ahead and to which they have to hurry, taking into consideration the slim time frame to get to Busan now that they have the winter basically stepping on their heels.
As they arrived to an abandoned hiking supply store close to the city limits, Dan saw the lingerer sitting right next to the entrance, holding his bat tight. Jaekyung raised an eyebrow, looking at Dan obliterating the monster with ease, making Daehyun look away for a moment. As soon as the job was done, the group looked towards the door before Heesung turned to Dan.
―You can start picking the lock whenever you feel ready.
―I lost the wire with my bag. ―Dan murmured, a little defeated by this.
―Potato?
―I left the other one back at the warehouse... sorry...
―Guess we'll have to do it the old way. ―Jaekyung muttered, taking a few steps forward.
Seungho raised an eyebrow, already imagining what "the old way" must be as he saw Jaekyung suddenly lifting his leg and kicking down the door, completely breaking the lock. Daehyun proceeded to knock on the former door frame, waiting for a warning growl from the inside, yet nothing came out of it. One by one, the rest of the group started walking in, Seungho rolling his eyes momentarily.
