CHAPTER 4 -You Two Have Gotten Close-

JUNE 3RD-2005-

Emma's Pov-SLEEPOVER-

          Me and Claire are doing a sleepover at her house since we haven't done one in 3 weeks so we decided to do it at her house again. "Okay! Hottest boy at Tommen?!" Claire said while stuffing food into her mouth, "Uhmmm, I'm not sure.." I said, I didn't want to tell her that I thought her brother was hot because he has a  girlfriend and I don't want to break them up.  "Oh come on! What about Hughie? Yeah yeah he has a girlfriend but you two have gotten close!" Claire said while putting her food down,  "Yeah so I don't want to break their relation-" I was about to finish my sentence but arguing erupted "Who is yelling in my house?!" Claire got up and walked out her bedroom door and I was debating on putting on a cover up before I followed her cause I was in a spaghetti strap tank top and shorts, but I just didn't budge and just walked after her. "You two have gotten so close Hughie! She's in 5th year! After next year you'll be gone!!" I heard Katie scream,  "Katie, I don't like her! She is just my friend!" Hughie said in defense "Yeah, good  luck telling your heart that!" Katie said and then she left the house.. "Aye! What's all the commotion down here!" Claire said while stamping down the stairs "It was me and Katie, Sorry Claire." Hughie said dropping his bag on the sofa,, "We just got into a fight about how I am too close with Emma.." Hughie said looking at Claire, I walked down the stairs and he looks at me, and I felt butterflies.. He scanned over my body and when he got up to my face we made instant eye contact.."Uhm, I'm going to leave ya eejits alone" Claire said and laughed while walking back upstairs I think I might like him...

HUGHIE'S POV-

Me and Katie just got into an argument about how I am too close with Emma. Yeah, Emma is a beautiful  girl, with silky brown hair, a hourglass shaped body and gorgeous hazel green eyes that shimmer in the light.. Maybe Katie is right... "Are you even listening to me!" Katie yelled at me. We just walked into my house and I just stand there, "You two have gotten so close Hughie! She's in 5th year! After next year you'll be gone!!  Katie screamed in my face, I was quick to reply with "Katie,  I don't like her! She is just my friend!" in my defense she is, but I feel something more when I'm with her...  "Yeah, good luck telling your heart that!" Katie said and grabbed her stuff and stormed  out the door, I was about to go after her when I heard footsteps on the stairs "Aye! What's all the commotion down here!" My sister Claire said while stamping down the rest of the stairs  "It was me and Katie, sorry Claire." I said and pulled my hoodie off and picked up my bag and put it on the sofa, "We just got into a fight about how close i am with Emma.. Claire i feel different when I'm with Emma, something way different that when I'm with Katie.." I said admitting my feelings, I heard the stairs creak and I looked at the landing of the stairs. Holy moly...I felt myself harden as i scanned my eyes over her body, she looked hot.. She was wearing a spaghetti strap tank top,  with shorts on and her hair is in a messy bun and she has her glasses on, she looked like a dream. When I put my focus on her face we made intense eye contact and my body tremble just at the sight of her, "Uhm,  I'm going to leave ya eejits alone" Claire said and laughed while walking back upstairs. I don't think I'll be able to control myself if i was alone with her..

EMMA'S POV-   -Play song at the top-

"Are you okay?" I ask Hughie as he was now looking around the living space. "Uh, yeah I'll be fine." Hughie said, and I immediately knew that he was lying. I walked over to Hughie and I pulled him into a hug, his head was on top of my head and my face nuzzled into his chest. "I know you lied to  me.. and you never lie to me so I thought you needed a hug" I said as his arms wrapped tighter around me like his life was depending on me, "Emma.. I can't do this with you.." Hughie stated as a single tear dripped from his eye, "I know Hugh.. I know." I said comforting him, "But it's so damn hard to let  you go." He said he pulled away and placed his hands on my cheek slowly moving his thumb over the scar that was on my cheekbone, "I don't want to hurt you like your last relationship.." He said as  he let me go and backed away  to put some space between us.. The sentence made me shiver, I didn't want to bring back up memories of Joey.. "It's okay Hugh, I get it.." I said as i walked closer.. "Emma don't, I need too go..." Hughie said as he grabbed his coat and walked out the door.. I felt rejection.. and guilt.. I didn't want to ruin their relationship but it's  so damn hard to not want him..
