Vampire Aves

Katie's POV.

Days passed and I have been in Alex room,and I would also go to Isabella's room.But I have not gone down in days.

I would eat when food was brought upstairs for Alex and I .

Speaking of Alex,he would leave the room every now and then,I do not know where he goes and I did not ask .

I knew he would not reply.

But I have not heard any news from red moon town about any mishaps ,I guessed he did not go there.

I was sitting by the window looking outside,my chin rested on my palm.i watched the birds.

Humming a song I used to hear mother sing a lot.

I sighed, my hand unconsciously went to my necklace.

I heard the door close and I saw Alex.

He started to go through his clothes I stared at him. It was silent for a while. "Come here" he said not looking in my direction.

I got up walking to him. "Is there a problem?" I asked gently.

"We are heading to Almore" "we?"

I blinked at him "why?"

"Council work" he replied simply.

"Do you need anything?" I blinked again.

"Hold on...we are leaving now?"

Is Almore not a 3 days journey?

"I can just come back if you need anything" he mumbled ignoring my questions.

He walked to me holding out his hand .I stared at it for a solid 10 seconds.

"W-what is wrong?" I frowned.

He stared at me like I am stupid before speaking. "Take my hand"

"Oh... alright"

I gently took his hand,it was cold. He held my hand and I stared up at him in confusion.

All of a sudden we were not in the room anymore but in another place entirely,I panicked moving away from him.

"W-what...what just happened?" I stared around with wide eyes. he seemed calm.

"Welcome to Almore" he said..

"Welcome to... What! h-how did that even happen, one moment we were in the room and the next we are not...we just disappeared"

"Did you do tha-" I saw that he was already walking away.

I groaned holding up my dress I followed him.

"You are not answering my question" I said walking faster the snow was slowing me down.

"We are here to take care of suspected case of embezzlement" he said.

"Wha-....that is not what I asked!"

He stopped and turned to me. "What did you ask"

He stared intensely at me

"I- I asked....."

"Nothing...shall we go then?" He raised a brow and started walking,I blinked multiple times before following him again.

'what is going on...

He made us disappear from his room to Almore,how did he do that....

Isabella said no one can disappear...

Was he... I stared at him.

"Ale-....young master" I called.

He replied with a 'hmm'
