Katie's POV.

The next day came rather quickly, I woke up and after taking my bath I ate breakfast with Isabella and Tristan. Alex had gone to the council building for a meeting regarding the mutation.

Then Adrian arrived, it was a little awkward, but that was only for a while , i noticed he is so in love with Tristan and Isa.

After Adrian left, I was alone in the living room, Isabella had excused herself to go change and clean up Tristan.

I sat on the chair writing in a book while waiting on Alex's arrival. I heard the maids greet someone and I turned to look at the person.

To my surprise it was Alex's father, i got up in shock to see him, I was about to speak untill I heard Isabella.

"Katie, he will not stop crying, come hold him...." She trailed off as she descended the stairs staring at her father.

"Father?....." She muttered as she got down and I took the crying baby from her, he slowly kept quiet his big eyes staring up me.

I looked back at them. "Isabella?" He called moving towards her, he pulled her into a warm embrace. "You have....grown so much" he said.

Isabella hugged her father. "You are back" she said pulling back with tears forming in her eyes.

He nodded, "where is your brother?, Where is Uriel? It looks like a lot has changed since I left" he said looking around before his eyes landed on me.

"Who is she?" He asked staring at me confusion in his red eyes. "That is Katherine" Isabella said and he looked back at her.

"Where is your mother?" He asked before moving inside heading towards mother's room when Isabella did not reply.

"Uriel!"

"Uriel, I am back!" He called opening the door to mother's room and Isabella just stood staring at him tears falling down her face.

"Father..."

He frowned when he was met by emptiness,

"Father..." Isabella called after him.

"Perhaps she is in the garden, I told her not to spend so much time out, it is late"

"Father" she called again as he made his way out.

"Uriel, I am back where are you?" He said

"Mother is dead!" Isabella yelled and he stopped in his tracks. Then he turned to her.

"Isabella...do not joke about such-"

"It is not a joke, m-mother is dead" she said again and his eyes widened.

"Uriel is....dead?"  He asked in pure disbelief.
Isabella nodded. "Almost 2 months ago" she choked out.

I held my tears as Tristan pulled at the pendant of my necklace.

He shook his head, pure horror and vulnerability on his face.

Isabella walked to her father embracing him, as she began to explain everything. I
left them taking Tristan with me out to the garden.

I sat on the floor in the grass with Tristan in my arms. He stared at the bunnies hopping around his eyes following their every movement.

I wondered if he was full werewolf because of his eyes but the quick growth begs to differ.

I decided to go back in after sometime, I saw just Isabella sitting in the living room. "Father has gone to rest in his room"

She spoke as she took Tristan from me.
