Chapter 42

Katie's POV.

I jolted up from my sleep I was breathing heavily as I looked around. I was in a room. I frowned, where am I ? "was I dreaming?"

The pain in my head and ankle answered my question. "You are awake" I heard and my head snapped in the direction of the voice. Alex was standing by the door his arms crossed over his chest.

"Alex.." I muttered. "Where is this?" I asked.

"A house" he stated and I almost rolled my eyes.

"Whose house is this?" I questioned as he approached the bed.

"A family, I asked them to excuse us" he said.

I blinked...

"Alex, did you send the owners out of their house?" I asked and he ignored my question before sitting with me. I am certain he did not 'ask them to excuse us'.

"How are you feeling?" He asked holding my wrist to inspect it. "I am alright" I replied although it was not entirely true, I felt sore.

"Did he touch you?" He asked and I knew who he was talking about.

But my reply will probably make him angry.

"No" I said. He looked from my wrist to my face, his eyes glowing slightly. "Do not lie to me Katherine" he spoke in a tone that made me shiver slightly.

I flinched when his hand tightened around my wrist. "Alex..." "Did he touch you?" He asked and I tried to pull away from him.

"Y-yes, he did" I replied quickly.

"Where did he touch you?"

"Alex, you are hurting me" I said pulling again and his hand only tightened.

"Where did he touch you, Katherine?" He spoke again his voice was calm but I could feel the anger.

I did not reply and he pulled me closer to him, to the point where I was almost sitting on his lap. he slammed his lips on to mine.

His other hand held my waist pulling my closer to him the kiss was rough and possessive. his canine grazed my lip making me yelp as he gained entrance into my mouth.

When I was almost gasping for air he pulled back, I shut my eyes when his lips trailed down my jaw to my neck, He muttered something about me being 'HIS' then I felt his teeth graze my neck.

My eyes went wide as I pushed him back, he stared at me and I pulled my wrist from him.

His eyes were dark and glowing and his canines were out.

....he almost bit me...

His eyes glanced at my bruising wrist and his canine retracted, his eyes went back to normal when he blinked multiple times as if he just realized...

"You should rest" he said and got up leaving the room. The door closed and I looked down, I wiped the tears that I did not even know were there.

I huffed then I waited a while before I got out of the bed, almost falling when I stepped on my ankle. I limped to the door and went out of the room.

I looked around the house then i heard voices before deciding to follow the sound. I found myself walking down a staircase to a basement.

I paused and peeked down.  I saw... Tyler tied on the chair with the same rope he had tied me with in the forest.

Alex was sitting away from him tapping his finger slowly against his knee.

"I was just going to do what you have been unable to do" Tyler taunts.
