UPDATE (7/14/2024) - I did. I am also judging four Mystery/Thriller books, which I need to have write-ups for by the end of the week.
I'm not expecting to do well in this particular contest.

Reading between the lines: points were taken off simply because slow-burn, slow-paced, reflective literature was not to my judge's personal taste. Ysmeria prefers faster-paced stories.
This is something I encounter when trying to set up ARC-swaps off Wattpad, by the way - "dark romance" and erotic writers want fast-paced smut with immediate action and lots of it. they also prefer short chapters, even those who do not read their smut primarily on Kindle or on sites like Wattpad.
But effectively, that means my Third Place could just as easily have been a First Place if only my judge happened to like my good-things-come-to-those-who-wait, do-not-ask-"are-we-nearly-there-yet"-because-I-am-driving-and-annoying-your-driver-is-a-bad-idea approach to erotica.
