I found out about these awards by following the host, thedeepXmlb, who was helping EclipseNoir123 host her Golden Bean Awards, and I fell in love with the beautiful graphics.
The contest does not have categories for art or poetry, just for fiction, which meant I could only enter Ancilla, and I had to limit myself to one genre and one category as a result. I chose Rose Petal Romances as the genre and Brilliant Blossom as the category, because let's face it, "Magister" is about as brilliant a blossom as blossoms can get.
This contest has a Desi genre, Marigold Mystique, and I am thinking of giving the contest another shout-out just for that. Not my culture, but according to my stats, Ancilla's readers come as much from India as they do from the United States, and if any of them are writers, they might find this contest to be interesting.
UPDATE (September 16, 2024) - Ancilla won First Place. The graphics that were part of the prize are dazzling.
