Hosted by CroodsGirl and Venator-TheThird.

This one looks tough. But I got an invitation from CroodsGirl, and katiegoesmew is competing, so I figured what the heck, why not.

Ancilla is in the Novel competition.

"The Fire That Burns The Brightest" is in the Short Story/Oneshot competition. I could have entered my anthology, Morsels, but I figured I'd already foisted enough erotica on Croodsgirl, so I entered one of my cleanfics.

Excavations is in the Poetry competition.

UPDATE (7/20/25)

As usual, my weakest work got the highest honours.

Ancilla did not advance past the Shortlist. That was as far as it got. Also, Croodsgirl actually stopped featuring it on her profile in her "Wattpad, This Is Why I Refuse To Give You Five Stars" underrated gems list sometime during the contest.

"The Fire That Burns the Brightest" was one of ten Short Story winners. Jeez, I wrote that when I was a teenager and only edited the SPAG before publishing it on Wattpad. Why does it keep getting awards?

Excavations was a Featured book and was designated as a Grand Winner in Poetry despite its having been made an Amby Favorite (Poetry) at some point after Croodsgirl launched her Unification award. Then again, I think it's safe to say that poetry is never going to be a Wattpad "ventricle," nor will my poetry ever reach the wild popularity of May Garner's, May Garner being Wattpad's own Rupi Kaur and me being more like Wattpad's Ezra Pound or Sylvia Plath, so Excavations is unlikely to ever pose a threat to Croodsgirl's success on Wattpad, if success is to be defined as zero-sum.
