This is a big one.
I was kind of in a haze when I entered my books (it was the last week of Ramadan when I entered, and I had a serious case of fourth-week-of-fasting brain fog) so I'm looking up what I typed when I entered.
Here we go.
Ancilla: Grand categories - Best book, best debut book. I think I forgot to enter the mini categories in time.
Excavations: Best debut collection, best poetry collection.
I could have sworn I entered more categories, but maybe not. I was really in a fog that day.

UPDATE (6/5/2024) - I'm judging. The category is a secret for now. :)
UPDATE (10/31/2025) - I guess, since the contest was abandoned sometime last summer (after I judged my own category... grr) it's safe to be open about having judged the Historical Fiction category. If I can find my scoresheets and comments on Instagram, I'll write reviews and put them in my review book.
