CHAPTER- 13

"Mumma is here!!" Vartika exclaimed excitedly, finding her mother's car and ran to her without thinking twice.

The car gate opened revealing Shivalika, She looked at the school and frowned, Vartika usually wait for her at the entrance, but finding her missing she got worried, Did something happen to her? Is she alright? She immediately ran towards the school gate and was about to ask the guard but before she could ask the guard replied to her unasked quarry looking at her worried face.

"Ma'am Your daughter is in the Park"

"Park?" She was shocked, who allowed her? Is she alone? or with someone else? Anger rushed through her body looking at the carelessness of the school.

"HOW CAN YOU----" She shouted but stopped hearing Vartika's voice.

"Mumma!"

Shivalika turned back hearing her daughter's voice, She was worried for her, Her heartbeats came to the normal when she found her safe and sound, A relief smile formed on her lips as she saw her daughter smiling and waving her hand towards her.

"Vee! Baby stay there, I am coming to you, don't cross the road" She told her and stopped her.

"I will talk to you later" She told the guard in a cold voice, he gulped hearing her, He knew he is gone.

Shivalika looked back at her daughter and again smiled, She took two steps forward to cross the road, Her YSL heels ticked on the ground in temerity.

But Suddenly in the crowded Road, Her steps halted when she noticed the person who unexpectedly came behind Her daughter, She stopped walking, She was too shocked to react.

What was he doing here?

Her heart thumped loudly, What was going on? She couldn't understand What Aditya was doing with Vartika? it was not a good news, Her Daughter with the Man she doesn't like a bit.

She couldn't comprehend anything, all she knew is to take Vartika away from him. Vartika looked at her mother in confusion, Why did she stop suddenly then she looked back where her mom was looking only to find none other than Aditya.

Shivalika crossed the street with an unwanted expression.

"So now he is approaching my daughter, Wrong move Agnihotri" She never broke the eye contact with him, she looked at him with anger, fear, pain and disgust.

As Shivalika reached there, She immediately pulled Vartika towards her, She gave Aditya a look and then looked at Vartika.

"Vee, What are you doing here? didn't I tell you to stay away from strangers?" Shivalika said the last line looking at Aditya who was standing there unaffected, his hands were in the pocket of his pants and he looked at her with a small smirk on his face and it was triggering Shivalika.

Did he brainwashed her daughter?

she thought.

"Mumma he is not a stranger anymore, We are friends now" Vartika gave a toothy smile to Aditya who smiled back at her, Shivalika took it as a surprise, He actually smiled, not a fake one but real one which was rare, back then he never smiled at her like this, but who is she to judge anyways?

"You don't know him" Shivalika told her while Aditya was looking at the mother daughter duo.

"We met today when I was about to get hit by his car!" As Vartika said this the smile on Aditya's face dropped, oops wrong move Vartika..

Shivalika gasped in the air, her eyes widen in shock, Did she hear right? her daughter was about to get hit by this good for nothing man's car? Did he really plan to harm her? How low he can stoop? this was unbelievable..
