"What do you mean by that?" Yash sipped his coffee, sitting in front of Aditya who called him to have a conversation with him.

"You know what I mean!" Aditya looked at him with a 'duh' face.

"That's why I am asking! What got into you all of a sudden? Till Yesterday your motive was to find the answer and leave, and Now you are saying that You will win Shivi back! You were angry with her, You said you have nothing to do with her, then what changed your mind in just a single day?" Yash asked him, even though he was dancing inside with his decision but acted neutral in front of him.

"I changed my mind" Aditya shrugged off leaning back on his chair "I Realised that Shivalika was right at her place, What she did... She had her own reasons, maybe I would have done the same if I was at her place" He told him. Of course, He was not going to tell him the truth, He doesn't want to hurt Shivalika, at least not this time. He was already controlling himself from lashing out, He also wanted to complain to Yash for not understanding his sister, He didn't realise what she was going through even after staying in the same house but then he knew Shivalika was good at hiding, even if he had tried, she must have pushed him away knowing it would hurt him.

"Did Something happen?" Yash asked out of curiosity. He couldn't stop himself from thinking another way. This Man sitting in front of him didn't change his mind even after 8 years, and then what change did that one night bring into him?

"How should I tell you that? As love of My life's Brother or as My Ex-Best friend?" Aditya smirked. He loves it when he calls him his ex-best friend, and Yash scrunches his nose in disgust as if he would puke right in front of him.

Yash glared at him.

"A-As a well-wisher" He replied.

"Very well. Then listen, Mr Well Wisher." He started while Yash waited for him to continue. He was getting impatient.

"I won't tell you anything" Aditya gave him a tight lip smile making him clench his jaw.

He shut his eyes before speaking, controlling the urge to punch his face "As. An. Ex. Best. friend. Aditya." Aditya smiled widely.

"Appreciated!" He looked impressed. "Now listen My dear ex-best friend, I got my answers," He told him, Yash's anger flew away hearing that, and he looked at him with wide eyes.

"What? When? How? Did Shivi tell you herself? You didn't force it, right? I will kill you if you did that!"

"Calm down Calm down, Brother in law" Aditya said making him choke in the air.

BROTHER IN LAW? EWWW!!

"Don't call me that! Just tell me what I asked!" Yash's voice was firm.

"I can't tell You what she told me, All I can say is.. Your sister is very strong. And Yes, I didn't force her, She told me herself, and we both promised each other that we wouldn't talk about it again" He told him, Yash frowned. They won't discuss it anymore? Was that hurting her so much? But he chose to sit silent, She didn't tell him that means there must be a reason behind that, He is her brother but sometimes you are not comfortable sharing everything with your siblings.

"Fine, I won't ask. But just tell me... Whatever she told was.. that bad?" He asked hoping he would say 'No' but then He noticed how Aditya's jaw tightened as he remembered about that, His eyes were burning.

"Don't worry about that, I will take care of everything?" He said looking away.

"You just help me with what I asked for" He changed the topic.

"Why would I? My work has been done! Don't involve me anymore! I am not helping you!" Yash told him. No way he was going to help his ex-best friend to win back his sister, That sounds so... Odd.
