Yash stared blankly at his phone. The whole family was coming at him like he was a customer service hotline for their issues. What was he? A walking matrimonial app? or a counsellor?

He tossed his phone aside with a heavy sigh, but it rang immediately. Of course, it was Aditya.

Yash- what?

He asked, his tone flat, and annoyed

Aditya- tell me the truth!! What's wrong with your sister? 

Aditya questioned in urgency, as if he didn't tell him then he going to die.

Yash- What? What happened to her? Is she okay? Aditya, I swear, if you're the reason she's upset, I'll—

He asked, concern visible in his voice as his mind filled with negative thoughts but Aditya cut his words in the middle.

Aditya- Excuse me? Why the hell on earth you think I'd hurt her? For your kind information, she's happier with me, her so-called good-for-nothing brother!

Aditya spoke, He was offended, How could he even think that?

Yash- What did you---

Aditya- You heard me right, Ex Best Friend!! You are good for nothing, that's why you didn't help your ex-best friend.

He deliberately mentioned his ex-best friend to irritate him more, and the silence was enough for him to understand that his ex-best friend was burning in anger. Yash's jaw clenched. Helping his ex-best friend deal with his sister? No wayyy!!!

Yash- She is normal!

He replied ignoring his frustration, He understood what he was talking about.

Yash choked in the air after listening to him, was he like this all the time or his screw fell somewhere?

His jaw dropped, How could he say that to him, okay they were friend, they had talked about everything but she was his sister!!

With that, He hung the call.

On the other hand Aditya huffed in frustration when Yash cut the call, he didn't know what was going on. Shivalika was acting weird, since morning she had been acting all lovey-dovey, He even tried to annoy her but like last night she didn't argue, she was smiling at his witty jokes.

And now she asked him and Vartika to wait because she's the one who is going to cook breakfast, but the thing is, She doesn't know how to cook properly!!! and he knows it very well, and it scares the shit out of him. Also, he can't say anything to her so like an obedient man of his woman he did not question back, but his curious ass won't let him sit silently, that's why he called Yash but that man wouldn't even talk properly as if he found him cheating on him with another man.
